Well, I hope no one is surprised... we are in the "attack" phase... A good thing!

We are truly in the attack phase of the ignore/ridicule/attack/win scenario.

I'm sure that Ron has fully expected this. He has been saying the same things for 30+ years.

Here are the possible scenarios...

First, a RP supporter will see through these smears and not be affected.

Second, those who haven't heard of him will either be in one of two camps. They will either take the media's opinion at face value and not support RP or they will look into him more now that they know about him and most likely become supporters.

Third, those who knew about him before this and didn't support him will most likely not be swayed, except for maybe those who notice the blatant bias and smearing and choose to research it further.

So, in the end, these attacks are a NET POSITIVE! Keep that in mind! Being attacked for truth and principles is a good thing.

Please be aware of these different types of people and address them accordingly. Be on the defensive, but don't lose perspective.

dont know why people are saying its good for the good doctor to get 3rd in iowa.
hes gonna get 1st suckas!

I was expecting this, too. Just remember that the voters we are wooing - the independents - have seen all this before, and can probably smell a big fat rat like Kristol when they see it.

Kristol was a reverse psychology endorsement for RP.

Thanks Neo-Con Loser.

2 more weeks and shit will hit the fan. I was thinking same thing about the attacks.

DO WE JUST SIT BACK AND TAKE IT THOUGH?

OR DO WE FIGHT BACK WITH SOME TRUTH?

NEWTON'S 3rd LAW of MOTION: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

SO SINCE THEY ARE LYING WE NEED AN EQUAL REACTION OF THE TRUTH!!!!

Yes finally we are in the attack phase. I don't think we were before this, unless you call ignoring, and calling you a kook an attack. I considered that an ignore and marginalize phase. Now its full assault. Lets see how thick our skin is, so far so good.

I think the other candidates have proven that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

This is great! I thought it would have come earlier but better late than never. :D

Bring it on old media, you don't have a leg to stand on!

Stay on Target!!

Damn, I hate this phase, I always get rashses.

Me too... :(

The next phase is Rudy McRomneysonabee go negative against Paul.

Then they get the Democrats to go negative.

Then it gets even worse, unfortunately - they cheat.

Then they bus in fake protesters to call us fascists and cheats and whatever insults should really be directed at them instead of us.

Then they stage a fake assassination attempt on our opposition and blame it on Paul supporters.

Then they stage even bigger terrorist attacks and blame it on "the Ron Paul branch of Al-Qaeda".

Then they plant drugs or weapons on people close to the Ron Paul campaign and put them in Federal prison.

Then the IRS starts an immediate audit of everyone who donated to Ron Paul or even visited this forum.

Then some top Ron Paul sites get shut down for promoting terrorism, perhaps after a patsy posts some incriminating evidence.

Then Ron Paul is captured and given a heart attack causing injection, no more Dr. Paul.

Then 1-2% of the American population, almost 5,000,000 people, become active dissidents - stop paying taxes, join something like the Free State Project, get unplugged from the grid.

Then they put 2 of those 5 million in jail, straining the prison infrastructure, while 10 million more join the movement.

Then they put 5 million more in jails and improvised concentration camps, and 15 million more join the movement, with international opinion being clearly on our side. American products and services are boycotted around the world. Similar revolutions spark up in previously socialist countries on every continent. Some are put down, but new ones are started. Some of small countries become successful in implementing a minimal constitution-bound government like the America of 1776 and become the Galt's Gulch for the top dissidents across the world. With top brains and capital leaving them, the socialist governments roll in the tanks but are challenged through non-violent resistance that turns the tide of public opinion against them. The centralized Internet is shut down, but it is quickly replaced with a mesh of locally-run volunteer networks of wireless routers and people copying information between them through whatever means are available. Then they stage more terrorist attacks, perhaps detonate a nuke or two, but the public no longer believes in Al-CIAda. No one pays taxes anymore. Half the police force quits, two thirds of the military goes AWOL. Even though all highways are shut down, five million people are nonetheless able to converge on Washington DC, and even though thousands are gunned down they eventually succeed in shutting down all regular functions of the Federal government. The chains are broken! A dozen states declares secession, and others join in multi-state unions of their own. Order is restored, media resumes operation under new ownership just in time to bring reports of similar revolutions taking place in China, Russia, and many other countries. Dictators that were previously able to stay in power by keeping their people in fear of "the American threat" are overthrown and are replaced with milder socialist systems that can gradually shift toward capitalism. A popular decentralized movement takes place to replace the United Nations and its collectivist agenda with a new philosophy based on individual sovereignty, liberty, and absolute property rights.

And then we win!

Beer actually. ;)

But the point is - they more the establishment will cheat, the more dedicated the libertarian / objectivist base in this country will become. The harder they crack down, the more the public opinion will turn to our favor. Sooner or later, Atlas will shrug!

Oh man I hope so!!!

I also hope that the campaign is taking notice, if we place 3rd or better in Iowa then the attacks are going to intensify like crazy. If we can turn the attacks around on the media then we will be good going into New Hampshire.

Actually it comes at a very good time. Too much of something and people get bored and start ignoring it so if we had hit this phase earlier like the other candidates people would have gotten tired of hearing about Ron Paul like they're tired of hearing about the other candidates already. It's better to come out of nowhere right at the end and surprise everyone which looks to be happening.

There was a video of the Iowa campaign director giving a motivational speech I saw on YouTube about two weeks ago and he was talking about the campaign was right where it should be and that as we kept climbing the curve the support would grow and not to be worried. That is what looks to be happening.

Better to peak at the end than prematurely and fall by the wayside like all the other "hopefuls".
