Welfare stampede in Detroit (video)

This will get much worse over time. As the economy gets worse and more people become unempolyed, there is not much that can be done. This gets compounded by peak energy and a greater number of jobs becoming obsolete due to technology. The only areas that won't be affected are probably healthcare, criminal justice, and scientific research in terms of jobs.

Heh, they can never find enough employees in Jackson, MI paying ~$10/hour to be idle much of the time and which requires no education/experience.

kaleidescope eyes moved to MI because it's where her husband found work.

Anyway, if you're willing to learn and are fairly intelligent, there's a good bit to earn on the Internet if you know where to look.

We moved here last year for the same reason.

Feel free to email me your knowledge about making money on the internetz. I won't give you any money up front but I'll cut you in as a partner.

No one is trying to move to Mich, people are thinking bout moving to the NE to NH for the Free State Project. Freedom is better gotten at a lower age of life.

We would love to have moved to NH, but DH couldn't find a job doing what he does there.

I don't know that freedom is better at a lower age, but it's definitely easier.

My point wasn't why don't people move to MI, it was why don't people migrate out? Why isn't Detroit a ghost town?
