Weak voters are getting mad because we're CALLING THEM SO MUCH.

Agreed. I made some calls this morning and practically all of them had been contacted already, one several times. This GOTV program is awesome BUT this overlap needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. It really destroys the whole point.

Why would anyone keep dialing a new number if the previous call was already confirmed to be a repeat???

Stop calling, for Christ sakes people... How obvious is this?

I don't blame them. If I was a weak voter and was constantly being bombarded with phone calls I wouldn't even bother voting.

THAT BANNER AD HAD BETTER SWITCH OVER BY 9 p.m TO NEW HAMPSHIRE. WE NEED TO KEEP MORALE AND MOMENTUM UP!

I've been worried about this for a while now, hence why I've been annoyed by people spamming this forum about phoning from home.

I know it's with good intentions, but the fact is a lot of people don't like these types of phone calls. It's good in moderation, but when you have several hundred, or thousand maybe, people calling thousands of times, you're bound to overlap and annoy the hell out of certain people.

Let's chill now.

Maybe start some more stop calling threads.

The message has been spread, so let's let it be now.

Fox news just said Romney voulenteers have made 10 calls per person...didnt catch how many voulenteers.

Iowa households are getting six to ten calls today. NBC Nightly News.
this angry "you people again" reaction might be also Romney's people
having their own get out the vote agenda. there are many phonebanks.
Some of the households indeed have received 5 or 6 calls from our people.

tomorrow our rEVOLUTIOn people will be calling New Hampshire hopefully with few overlaps!

I saw a couple of Iowans in another forum mention they were tired of all the calls from all the candidates.

Anyone who does not vote for Ron Paul because they got called a few times is not a true supporter anyway!

It isn't important whether someone meets YOUR standard of what a "true supporter" is- it's important that they go out and caucus/vote.

We need all supporters, not just the ones you deem worthy.

BTW, you seem awfully judgmental for a guy who has only been here for TWO WEEKS.

Normal calling for PFH is for voter ID, there are hundreds of thousands of people to call in a state. The phone from home is very important for finding new RP voters and people leaning his way. This is how we were able to come up with the lists for GOTV for Iowa. With more state primaries and caucuses coming up the PFH needs more volunteers calling.

What has happened in the past 2 days there are a lot less people on the calling lists with a lot more people calling in a concentrated effort with Iowa GOTV.

Excellent. Probably a better use of resources at this time to start working New Hampshire.

Voting in caucuses should be starting in the next hour.
