Wead to discuss yesterday on his fb today at 1 P.M. EST

q: I think the conspiracy theory is not the route to go... I think we should take RP's example and keep moving forward. I think once candidates drop out you are going to see RP rise to the top due to the "Anti-Romney" setiment in the country (assuming he continues to be the front runner). Look at Virginia. Romney (big pockets) got 60% versus a grassroot campaign that earned 40% (for RP). Doug, would you agree that this shows how RP could win the nomination (and perhaps the presidency)?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian good points

q: How can we influence protocol at local elections? mostly to try and avoid a fraudulent situation...

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian get elected to the state convention.

q: Looks like a huge victory socialism last night. Dr. Paul is last hope at restoring America. Sick and tired of republican party joking and laughs on him; shows that there is an issue not America here.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian you are so right

q: Doug, it is clear to me that the GOP won't Allow Doctor Paul to win the nomination; at this point I have to ask if the race for delegates is to bolster Ron Paul's legitimacy in leaving the Party after Tampa???

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Nope, We haven't given up.

q: As evidenced by a previous comment, I don't think people understand the difference between a "brockered" vs "open" convention. Mr. Wead, could you explain the difference... and which kind of convention will the GOP likely have?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian well, an open convention allows each delegate to vote their conscience. that would be dynamite for us because we will have many delegates there. brokered is making deals to have our delegates support another candidagte.

q: Doug I have many questions, but a big concern that I have is that Dr Paul is not getting to the minority in a very effective way, many of us "hispanics" support him, but we do not see any one from our community around his campaign, can you inform me if I'm wrong about that, and if not what can we do to help him reach that huge voting block within our community. I've done videos on youtube for him but is a very small effort, we need guidelines and help form campaign headquarters

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian we were so happy with the polls showing hispanic support. and in clark county - (las vegas) it was 52% with romney the closest behind at 26%. our comptroller is hispanic and others in the campaign. we have ads in spanish...

q: Doug, are you going to talk LIVE via VIDEO or is this the whole deal?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian i am going to do a live thingy with ronpaulflix.

A lot of people here will always take the path that provides the least cognitive discomfort even if it has zero logic, and rationality behind it. They can't believe freedom isn't popular and that Ron is losing because the other candidates are better at getting votes. They clearly have never participated in phone from home or canvassing or they would know first hand what the truth is. Not to mention polls (though they just claim those are part of the Lizard People NWO Jew Banker Illuminati). He's just not that popular, because the media hates him and the campaign was mismanaged early on when we had a shot.

Now you have a bunch of "hardcore" supporters claiming they can't believe we lost because of fraud. I doubt any of these people did anything outside posting on the internet about how awesome Ron Paul is. Honestly all the people shouting fraud are an insult to those of us who worked our asses off getting people to the polls.

Suppose I agree with you. All that working our asses off getting people to the polls is flushed down the toilet if those people's votes didn't get counted right.

I saw from the get go that Ron Paul and his message aren't as popular as we'd like. The problem needs to be attacked from every angle. Phoning from home is just as important as sifting through the results with a fine toothed comb. Why do you feel the need to have your efforts stand out more than that of others>?

q: I love to meet new people Ron Paul really brings people together , I can not wait another four years 2016 no it can't happen .. I have a daughter so please we have to reverse it

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Me too. my kids are in this thing.

q: Are we really second in delegates?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Yes, in my opinion, we are.

My efforts are minor compared to some peoples, but the conspiracy theories efforts are counter-productive. We won't win anything other than the Tin Foil Hat award (which we pretty much already have) by embracing conspiracy theories. There is nothing to gain from it other than the feeling of self-righteousness those people get. Same reason "truthers" have no problem associating Paul with their movement even if it hurts them in the process.

If you want to help Paul do stuff that helps get him votes. All these fraud charges will never amount to anything that results in more votes, it just helps the media paint us as fringe conspiracy theorists.

q: call me ignorant but, I look at the other three candidates and I see the GOP. I look at Dr. Paul and I don't see anything that looks at all like the Grand Ol Party. I understand the delegate situation, I also understand the need for debates and getting the message out, however, in-case no one else has noticed, Dr. Paul (even with only four candidates) DOESN'T get fair air-time or Questions... so, here is my question; Why the hell is he still running as a REPUBLICAN?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian He believes that the GOP have lost their way and left their true base.

q: Have you seen all the international support that Ron Paul is getting? I see people from other countries talking about him on the web every day. I think it's fabulous that the rest of the world wants him as our president. Do you think this is relevant and/or could help sway people's opinions here in the US?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian I am pleased by that as well. It is wonderful for them to know that we aren't all stupid. That some of us know that landlocked Syria is not Iran's route to the Sea, as Romney said.

following up on GOP losing their way..

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian at one time the gop was conservative and did not believe in spending more than it takes in. or going to war without a declaration

Over half the voters I ID'd here didn't show up to caucus. Some didn't register to vote. Some of those who didn't register to vote attended rallies. You can ask anyone in the YFP at UW how many people they ID'd bothered to show up and they'll all give you the same story.

YFP? Youth for Paul? So a few college kids forgot to register and you say nobody voted.

I loved this one!!!!

q: One other thing....I have seen more women say they're not voting for Ron because of his views on abortion....It's still up to the individual, just because he doesn't believe it's right doesn't mean he's not telling them they can't do it, I think this needs to be cleared up a LOT and would make women feel more comfy with him. There's this whole "War on Women" crap being touted lately, so that's where this stemmed from.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian good point

q: Ok so voter fraud is a oviously a big question. I've heard of places where "young" people are put on a separate line and forced to vote electronically.. What can be done? Can we just demand paper ballots for everyone??? any ideas??

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian wow, where was that?

q: In your opinion Doug, where do we stand right now and what needs to happen next to largely push Ron to the people and to land him mainstream in some form?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian it is happening, slowly. but not fast enough for me.
