Wead to discuss yesterday on his fb today at 1 P.M. EST

q: What I would like to see in Dr. Pauls plan for infrastructure repair is to tie in the military drawback and use those troops in joined effort with the Army corp of Engineers to repair our roads. It would disspell the threat of losing troop numbers and guarantee then a job. Your thoughts?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Great idea. In fact, I have heard him talk about that very thing.

q: When Dr Paul speak the turnout is amazing. But it does not look like its translating to as many votes as we would like. Why is that? Is that a sign that more focus should be directed towards "get out the vote" efforts and maybe less towards ads?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian this is a puzzle for us too.

q: Doug, how bad do we want this? Why not make national ads pointing out the documented voter fraud? Why not make national ads pointing out the media bias?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian we would be accused of being conspiracy theorists.
Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian We have to prove and document a violation.

q: Should I move out of the country?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian not yet.

Honestly all the people shouting fraud are an insult to those of us who worked our asses off getting people to the polls

Over half the voters I ID'd here didn't show up to caucus. Some didn't register to vote. Some of those who didn't register to vote attended rallies. You can ask anyone in the YFP at UW how many people they ID'd bothered to show up and they'll all give you the same story

lol not hard enough according to you

q: What are the chances for a brokered convention and would that be good for us? Is a brokered convention our only path to the nomination?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian brokered or open convention.

q: One other thing....I have seen more women say they're not voting for Ron because of his views on abortion....It's still up to the individual, just because he doesn't believe it's right doesn't mean he's not telling them they can't do it, I think this needs to be cleared up a LOT and would make women feel more comfy with him. There's this whole "War on Women" crap being touted lately, so that's where this stemmed from.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian good point

this is why he cant win social conservative votes. anti-abortionists want to make arbotions illegal for all.

q: Is there anything we can do to help the campaign fight/prevent Fraud (Primaries mostly) in the election? Some of us are filling out papers to help push paper ballots since they are easier to track. Those papers are being given to county DA offices in hope that they will reach a Grand Jury. Many of us want to fight fraud as well and feel helpless as our votes are twisted around to help other candidates.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian i love it. lets go paper.

q: Sometimes as many as 80% of the voters sais that the economy or budget deficit is the most important issue. And even some MSM talks about RP wanting to cut the most. So is there a "hidden" issue among voters (maybe Iran?)? Very curious on your take. Also want to tell you that the enthusiasm is still strong after not so super tuesday.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Yes, evangelical Christians are attracted to a candidate that will voice their faith more publicly. dr. paul is too humble for that.

q: There are some rumors that they will be changing the bylaws in some of the caucus states to prevent Ron Paul delegates from moving to the state level. Are you all keeping up to date with these changes?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian I know that it can happen in some states. Do you know of specifics?

q: I did my part I voted for Ron Paul, now you have to do your part and win this nomination.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian well, i voted too.

q: At the caucus last there was a young lady 18 from the local high school that gave a very good speech on how she came to support Ron Paul. I'm sure she must have changed a few minds anyway. We were there until 11:00 she was a real tropper continueing to talk to many about her belief in Ron Paul. we took our County. Some how we have to show how many young people there ready to support Paul. He has worked so hard to educate wish more of us old farts would wake up.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian I would love to hear her pitch.

Someone should probably thank Doug for everything he has done to balance out all the people being assholes.

q: Thanks for all you do. This is the generation with the best chance to make changes that have been needed for decades. I'm so sick of CNN, fox, nbc, they might as well be the same channel.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian so true

My efforts are minor compared to some peoples, but the conspiracy theories efforts are counter-productive. We won't win anything other than the Tin Foil Hat award (which we pretty much already have) by embracing conspiracy theories. There is nothing to gain from it other than the feeling of self-righteousness those people get. Same reason "truthers" have no problem associating Paul with their movement even if it hurts them in the process.

If you want to help Paul do stuff that helps get him votes. All these fraud charges will never amount to anything that results in more votes, it just helps the media paint us as fringe conspiracy theorists.

very generally speaking, this entire movement is based on a gigantic conspiracy theory. Voter fraud is as serious a subject as 9/11 truth. You may have a point, that this might not be the right time if that is what you are complaining about. I don't think it is, but I'd say that this is the best time to uncover the voter fraud. While it's happening, not as some historical lost idea which is where lots of people would like to see 9/11 truth end up.

I am sorry you think vote fraud is a conspiracy theory, but I am glad you still support Ron Paul.

q: I have had conversations with numerous friends who believe that when Ron Paul brings all the troops home , that they will be out of a job. Can you please ask Dr Paul to make a video explaining what he will do exactly. Such as re opening our closed military bases , sending our troops to the southern border , possibly using the corp of enginniers to rebuild infrustructure. A video or ad such as that will give a much more positive light to pauls foreign policy.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian no, he doesn't want to fire them. he wants them spending their money at home not in germany and japan. he wants them on our borders not pakistans border.

q: Mr. Wead, what do you think would be the differences in Ron Paul's governing philosophy if he were running for governor of a state instead of president? Mayor of a city? I think the answer might be really interesting to those who aren't libertarians and who haven't followed Ron Paul for as long as I have.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian good question, not sure.

q: Doug When you gonna go on the Daily Show? Stewart seems to appreciate RP's consistency.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian ha. no invite yet.

q: Thank You Doug for all you are doing for Liberty, freedom, and prosperity:) this Constitutional Jeffersonian Peace Democrat really appreciates all of your hard work!

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian thanks

q: Doug, thanks for this opportunity! I hope that our suggestions will help the cause and the campaign will adjust the strategy alil to gain some PUBLIC momentum, even though these 2nd place finishes have become more common. Thanks again!

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian you are welcome. thanks for what you do.
