q: We are expected to take 50-60% of the unpleged 261 delegates, correct?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Not sure about that. But many of the delegates now counted for Romney are actually going to vote for RP in Tampa.
 
q: OK, Suppose it's a Brokered Convention, assume (delegate count) Romney in 1st, Santorum in 2nd, Paul in 3rd, and Gigerich in 4th. Santorum/Gingerich have the "faux conservative" mantle, Romney the "moderate" and Paul is in a class of his own.

Assume Romney's delegates plus any one of the other three's delegates puts him over the top. Also assume that combination of delegates of Santorum + Gingerich would not be enough to claim the nomination.

Does Santorum or Gingerich cut a deal with Romney? Or does Romney cut a deal with Paul?

I'd argue that a Romney/Paul coalition is our only chance to get the messenger into a position to actually do/influence anything.

What are your thoughts, Mr. Wead?

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Glad you noticed. Our problem is taht we are trying to fundamentally change this country and take it back to the us constitution. It wll not happen overnight.
 
q: I would like to know exactly how many delegates we should be expecting to go to Ron Paul after Super Tuesday. He said he has a plan for delegates, I just want evidence its working. I have handed out Ron Paul information cards / brochures for months. I deserve to know what his chances are I feel.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian Well, we don't know for sure because the delegates in Iowa, Maine, colorado, Minnesota, Mo., nevada and other caucus states will be selected at their state conventions. but we do know that our people have run as delegates to the precinct contests and won many of the slots that take them to the state conventions.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian the best example of how it is working? in Iowa, the state GOP chairman - romney guy - resigned. The new one selected? aj spiker, the former co chair of the ron paul campaign in iowa.

Doug Wead: Author, Speaker, Presidential Historian that is a trad secret. but much more than they show in the media. in fact we don't know yet because the process in Iowa and the other caucus states is ongoing.

at least half a dozen comments about vote fraud/cheating, but no one provides evidence. just that its "obvious" or "no way"
