We MUST get this ad to the campaign. AWESOME.

That commercial is awesome, and really strike with the baby boomers, that creedence song.

Wow...thanks for showing me that...that is the greatest ad I have seen to date...hope it runs...

It's a very cool ad, but It's not the most effective the way it is now.

It needs a voice to go with the text because the text comes up too fast. Like others have said, people also need to hear the name Ron Paul more and I would suggest having a clearer image of him at the end.

Awesome ad.

I think the music should be in the background a little more, with voiceovers added and his name mentioned. Then the music could come back in strong in the last 5-10 secs and create that emotional stir.

The highest turn out at polls is from people who are older than 50. Lets keep them in mind and not get too flashy. This ad is VERY appealing to young crowd.

Old people frankly care more about health care and social security.

I'm nearing 50 and I think the ad is awesome. CCR brings back some memories.

Age 50 and up to about 60 grew up with this music, it's perfect! And remember, those of us who grew up with this music also came of age during the Vietnam war era.

Another ad can focus on health care/SS.

I wonder what DC Douglas would charge to do a voice over of Adam Franklin's work on the Ron Paul ad. I do not suppose Adam F. would be willing to donate the GFX or sell the copyright and post a high resolution video file to an external site and allow people in the Ron Paul grassroots to raise the cash needed to get a good voice over of the GFX and a non-copywritten soundtrack, and get this on TV.

Just a thought.

I don't think this needs a voice over... it is nearly perfect as is. It brings up the important questions in a mostly positive, questioning manner which may spark many too learn more and become RP converts.

Also, regarding the comment "Fantastic commercial for the younger Generation - while far too fast for the older ones"... this is an anti-war, authority questioning song by Creedence Clearwater Revival from 1970 and the Vietnam war era. You have to be over 50 (like me) to remember when this song was originally released... so lighten up on the "too fast for the older ones" comments.

The song was written by John Fogerty (born in 1945) and I think the rights are now owned by Fantasy Records... but, I remember hearing something about Fogerty trying to regain the rights. So, I am not sure who owns the rights and someone would need to do some research to find out if the song is a viable candidate for a commercial for RP.

Different ads will appeal to different people and groups... so, the campaign will need a mix of different materials and ad types... and "our" music was better than your music! :-)

The CCR version is best. You need that type of music as it appeals to the widest audience. It also gives a positive vibe. The other versions don't do it for me at all. Same for my girlfriend. She doesn't like the others with the newer music. Too "radical" and actually a turn off. CCR evokes that emotional response that every advertiser is looking for.

Wow, that is awesome!
Great work.. this definitely needs to get sent to the campaign.
