We MUST get this ad to the campaign. AWESOME.

RP should spend some of that money and hire this guy Frank Dogg he does good work and I am sure he would be competitive in pricing.

I just checked SpotRunner.com...

For about $1600 / week, I could flood the Miami cable news networks at all hours of the day with this ad, for 8 weeks all the way up to the Florida Primary...

This would also include MSNBC in West Palm Beach as well...

This may seem pricey...but I thought it was interesting that I could setup my entire ad campaign in various markets all online!!!

Frankdogg...where can we get the loot to get this ad on TV?!?!?!?

6k a month to run that ad is well worth it. I say start a thread to run the ad. Make a counter widget on your own site for 6k. And keep on asking for money here to run this ad, and then run it. It is well worth it. even if you get a few grand, you can run the ad. Go for it, the ad is awesome

As far as I've seen the original can't be beat. The music syncs up with what is happening on the screen.

The highest turn out at polls is from people who are older than 50. Lets keep them in mind and not get too flashy. This ad is VERY appealing to young crowd.

Old people frankly care more about health care and social security.

I 100% disagree with this. I think this ad is very appealing to the baby boomer generation, especially with the CCR music.

This ad "nails it" for those of us who were a part of the 60-70's... Has their been any progress regarding the contacting of Fantasy Records to see if we can use the CCR music?

Adam (aka FrankDogg) is waiting to hear back.

I can sync every song to that clip. Just a matter of slowing down and fastening up the speed of the clip. That's not a problem with this type of video.

Why not use a good Ron Paul song then?

I just love this spot. My only suggestion (if it is made into a real TV spot) is to speed up the final music riff (without changing the pitch) so the final notes (the last three chords) of the riff are included to end the spot. I like the picture of RP at the end... maybe the campaign has a similar picture (thoughtfull, etc.) which shows his face a bit better.

Seriously we need to buy the rights and run that ad. By far the best on I've ever seen for RP.

id think we should do less promoting of John fogerty and mention Ron Pauls name a time or 2.

Watch the McCain or Romney campaign steal this and airing it everywhere before super Tuesday because they looked at this thread.

The Fogerty song is perfect though.. It's America.. And when its replayed on TV while people are looking away, they'll identify with the commercial right away and identify with the candidate.. It's a home run commercial just the way it is.

I think it's funny how everyone takes that song and uses it in patriotic ways....

lets look at the lyrics though ...

Yeah, some folks inherit star spangled eyes
Ooh, they send you down to war
And when you ask them, how much should we give
Ooh, they only answer, more, more, more, yeah

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no military son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one

... They always cut out the "It ain't me" part.
