Thank god that most of the people in that video are long gone. They've been replaced by other shills but it's interesting to see how many of them have fallen by the wayside (Michelle Malkin, eg) after their usefulness to the elite has expired.

First Post!

I'm 22, and I'm proud to say Ron Paul is the only person I've ever supported for President. I learned about him in 2007 from digging around on the internet one afternoon, and I've been an avid supporter since. I remember the first sign I ever saw advocating him: a small handmade blue painted piece of plywood with his name transcribed in white; nailed to a tree on the side of the highway. It's incredible as an original grassroots supporter to see what this movement has become; me being his lone whisper in my little corner of Texas to him becoming a regular conversation topic everywhere I go.

Only recently did I realize the incredible support and community that has developed for this man, and I'm glad to be apart of it! I know how far we've come; I've only truly cried a few times in my life, the first being the night I removed my mother off life support, the second being tonight, during Dr. Paul's speech. Keep battling, I look forward to bawling like a little girl on inauguration day.

Anyone remember the Google Ron Paul blimp??? :D

To be honest I was so shocked to see there were so many liberty/libertarian minded people out there that I knew the movement would continue. TO think we got 23% of the vote in two states now with how much shit the media has thrown at RP, its amazing to see so many people realize what is ruining this country and who can fix it!!!

I first saw Ron Paul live in Mountain View, CA in 2007 and it was super cool. Felt like I was getting to see the Beatles or something. An honest to god celebrity. It was the most beautiful weather day I specifically recall on the peninsula.

Caught this one more recently (great backdrop behind Ron is the San Francisco Civic Center):

And here is my favorite nostalgia video from 2007 (look quick for Kent Snyder and Lew Rockwell):

  • So who here voted for Ed Clark (LP) in 1980* and/or Ron Paul in 1987/88? :p
*I was too young to vote in '80, but was very interested in the election.

I made the blunder of voting instead for CFR John Andersen in 1980.

2007, good times

Speaking of which...I'm confident you won't get any objections if you happen to toss off a video or two in this 2012 cycle....

While each and every video of yours was great, this was my favorite. The music just kills me. If I have a little scotch or brandy before hand I am usually sobbing like a baby...You are the grassroots video KING:

Who am I why am I here? Just a quick reality check about how bad things were in 2007-2008. We are kicking ass and taking names don't forget it.

Man, that video brings back memories. I remember feeling so bad for Ron Paul and arguing with my family all the time when they were calling him crazy.
It takes some serious strength to continue the fight when the powerful mass media is thrashing you like that. I'm not necessarily a religious man but it feels like God could be on the good Doctors side. What a change.

This campaign so far has been quite a ride.

Those were some tough, tough times...and extremely discouraging...but look where we are now. Amazing.

Oh how the old school video's so boss....the money bombs and videos are weaker today, but we are so much stronger some how...probably because the energy has been spread out by a lot more people.
