We have a shot at 2016!!!!

The Republican Party is never going to accept Ron Paul, Rand Paul, or anyone like them. My prediction is that they won't learn anything in the next for years and they still won't care about us.

Which is why I'm now a Libertarian.. Me and a friend of mine are thinking really hard about opening up a small Libertarian headquarters in our area. I'm thinking, that the Republicans are fed up with the flip flopping liberals the GOP has been dishing out.

No one knows for sure if it will take off... We can only hope for the best.

That's a pretty good observation. At this point the GOP must "work with" The President. Ultimately it removes a good portion of the given false left/right paradigm in the eyes of the casual observer but should also see some of the speak I've read in this thread for what it is as well. Remember that now the GOP has to reach out to you. You have no obligation to reach out to them. If it's said that you should be the one reaching out then walk the other way. Just my opinion on that as far as you took it. The party will be at odds for some time and will be a struggle within. How many genuine issues will be a part of that remain up for grabs. I've not seen to much from them other than what the msm spew. Dumb shit, really.

Of course, the flip side of that situation is that there exists a genuine aspect to a truly third party that has accumulated quite a bit of push relevant to having some impact toward a broad scope of issues less discussed through all of this and have done so completely in stealth while everyone was hypnotized with all of the main stream circus speak over the last couple of election cycles. Mostly science nerds...

Rand has a shot, I'm not sure how good it is. Fox News might like Rand now but lets see how much love they show him when he standing in the way of the golden gods Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio. 2014 should be a good test of his viability, we must take out Lindsay Graham.

Okay am I the only person who realizes we need to do more than hope the GOP is going to let us pass through a candidate they want? Am I fucking blind or something? They fucking STOLE the election from Paul. I'm not waiting until i'm 60 years old and all the old GOP people croaked.

Yeah. It's discouraging alright. Hey, I am 60! I been advocating the Liberty agenda for decades now. But I sense a sea change. There is more cohesiveness. More depth. Stuff like the Mises institute. And, of course, Ron Paul who has been a true inspiration.

Then they lose again. and again. and again.

They will continue to lose for the next thousand years until they accept strict Constitutionalism.

When they do, we will be there.

But we can make it happen right away.

By taking over.

Right now, the GOP leadership will be in complete disarray.

Now is the time to strike.

Strike the root.

If we sit back and wait, we are doomed and will lose. That's the worst thing we could possibly do.

We need to go full-speed ahead and damn the torpedos.

We need a full-bore national takeover.

We will still have an unfriendly RNC for four years, until we can replace the RNC in 2016.

Then the takeover will be complete.

And then WE decide who the GOP supports.

Because there will be none of the old GOP left, only us.

The GOP leadership will be in complete and utter disarray. Completely vulnerable.

He who hesitates is lost.

Strike now, strike hard.

If we wait four years before we do anything, then of course we lose. And we'd deserve it.

Look people, the only way we lose in 2016 is if you people descent into apathy again.

We only lose by defeating ourselves.

Stop being so damn determined to do just that!

Entitlement society

I hope and pray that this country has more intellectual and moral reserves than any other country in the world to survive this, which seems to be the affirmation of an entitlement society, of government controls, regulations, spending. Atlas Shrugged 2 seems an incredible description of what is about to come.

I believe that nothing will come out of plain politics. It will not be enough. It has to be deeper, much deeper than that. It has to come from educating people about the economy, about freedom, about the moral principles that Ayn Rand has so well explained. It will have to become a daily fight not in the republican or libertarian committees, but in schools, in universities, and in the media. People are too focused on the problems of their own lives to "naturally" start to understand how things work and what things are at stake.

This country has lost the possibility of electing the most honest and intelligent politician in my lifetime -RP-, whom, at a moment of desperation, I must confess, I doubted during the campaign. I'm not sure how the required change in morals and, frankly, knowledge, can be brought about, but I will try my hardest every single day, for the sake of my children.

The movement is doomed to failure if people do not put the same efforts into finding investors for a Liberty news channel to compete with Foxnews and the MSM propaganda as they did in trying to get Ron elected.

Rand will be given more prominence than they gave to Ron but ultimately Foxnews and Neocon talk radio will be pushing for Rubio and Christie. How many times does the movement need to learn a lesson about the media's association with the establishment Republican party.

If Romney won, it would have ended Christie's chance to run while he still has the media behind me. This explains the Obama and Christie coziness last week.

Well that's simple, bocelli. Disruption is the droid yer looking for. It makes things new again. Makes ideas fresh...

If there is one thing in all of the years Ron served that he should be remembered for it's the fact that he did just that. As such, he wins. Follow his lead and the little ones will be just fine by default. ;)

Takes a village though.

Rand Paul 2016.

The race starts today :D

If we make a 4 year headstart I'm sure we could win Iowa.
Heck Ron almost won the popular vote in Iowa and that's with all the media newsletter BS and their Santorum push.

And isn't the RNC chair of Iowa a Ron Paul supporter now too?

After the Chris Christie love fest with Obama and the REFUSAL to attend a Romney rally in Pennsylvania, I seriously doubt the GOP will be pushing him in 2016 (should we even have an election.)

I think the front-runners right now are Rubio/Rand/Jeb Bush.

If you guys are worried about anybody in particular, Marco Rubio for example, start digging up the dirt to discredit him well before he has the chance to do anything.

Yes, and he will have to work to keep it. Iowa Paulers don't let us down!
