There doesn't seem to be any hard evidence on either side of this argument.
One side is basing their claim entirely on the straw poll that the Media is reporting (and we know how competent, trustworthy, and honest they are) You can keep spitting out the percentages posted by the MSM, but if you really trust them, there are bigger issues to deal with here.
The other side of this argument is basing their claim on their understanding of how the actual delegate selection works and the fact that they were ACTUALLY THERE.
Is there hard facts either way... no, but I'd lean toward trusting a Ron Paul supporter that actually attended the caucus before I trust the word of the MSM.
I totally understand the point that an "official" win really help moral and could lead to more delegates in other states. But I can also understand that registering as uncommitted is probably used to help some Ron Paul supporters fill delegate slots that might not have been available had they officially registered for RP.
Either way, everything means nothing if McCain gets the 1191. So Texas and other key states will be important if there is any chance.
If a miracle is pulled off and there actually is a brokered convention, this whole strategy may be genius. If not, then a lot of it could be wasted.
