We can win South Carolina. Desperately need people on the ground here. Please come help!

Good evening ladies and gentlemen.

I am hereby issuing a plea. We have good traction here in South Carolina, and SC is the first truly conservative state we have run into thus far. George Washington won the American Revolution right here in Charleston, and we can win the first battle of the Ron Paul Revolution right here in South Carolina.

The issues that people care most about are the issues that Ron Paul stands behind. The personality of South Carolina is tailor made for a Ron Paul victory.

what we need, are more volunteers. We desperately need canvassers here in SC, and most especially in Charleston. If we can have canvassers who look like "old school" Republicans (Most of SC) here in suit and tie, then you would be worth 100+ more votes all by yourself. I am not exaggerating.

We need your help. We are canvassing and spreading the word through Thursday, and then transitioning into a huge GOTV effort Friday and Saturday.

If we have enough help, we will win.

Please, we need warm bodies and boots on the ground here in SC.

contact me at [email protected] and I will get you in touch with the coordinators here at Charleston HQ, or state HQ upstate.

This is where Washington wan the first American Revolution, and this is where we will win the second American Revolution. Just imagine the joy and pride of working so hard you cannot even stand at the end of the night, only to do it again the next day and the next -- but knowing....not suspecting but KNOWING that you were instrumental in Ron Paul's first major victory of 2008.

We can do this, but we need your help.

im not sure why this isnt getting a bunch of attention but its a great idea dn needs to be done. i hope everyone who can, does

I just spent a few days with the folks up there in Charleston. OP is right: SC is the perfect breeding ground for Dr. Paul's message. I implore anyone in the area to drop whatever they're doing and get to Charleston immediately. A strong showing in Charleston is very possible, if we make this final push.

Any accommodations?

I'm a female, but I look the middle-aged Republican part.

Have my hands tied in NJ, canvasing during the weekend. I really hope you get some people. wgadget, I have noticed that adding women along is a VERY good thing when you are going door-to-door.

YES, there are accompdations. We will find or make places for anybody willing to come help. If we get 10,000 people to help, we will make 10,000 places. HQ can come up with lodging. No worries there!

YES, this is as true as it gets. The "yes" and "maybe" responses increase by a factor of 100% to 150% or more for cavassers that are a man and woman vs 2 men, one man, or 1 or 2 women alone. This, along with Get Out The Vote will massively increase our representation at the polls.

they said the same thing about libertarian NH....

What, that we needed volunteers on the ground to canvass, and that if we turned out a massive GOTV campaign, we could win? Well yes, I'm sure they did say the same thing in NH. So did the GOTV ever actually materialize in NH? :)

Do the math. Only 8% to 12% of the electorate votes. If we assume the polls are correct and RP has 8% in the polls, if we can turn a 60% turnout to everyone elses 12%, our 8% will trump their 20% every time.

Good to hear, I wish I could be there but I'm there in spirit!!!! Let me know if i can do anything else!

I match the description of what you are looking for, but unfortunately I changed jobs recently and vacation time is very slim.

However, if a chipin is started for food/accomodations for these folks (like OLFD did), I would be sure to send a few dollars that way.

I wish the campaign had sent out the students in SC thing earlier. I went up to NH but would have gone to SC if they hadn't told me about it the day I left for NH.

Arrrrgggg...

I agree though. I think that RP's message is far more for SC than NH. NH people are to north eastern, if you know what I mean. Southerners I think will be more receptive to RP message. They did see it as their constitutional right to secede... You never know.

Bumping again. It's Monday. Primaries are on Saturday. We need people on the ground. Literally NEED.
