Joe the Plumber was plucked from obscurity after he asked a simple question to Obama while he was campaigning - the rest was history. Obama's response to Joe's question became famous, and opened a lot of people's eyes to what the consequences of an Obama presidency could be, a path towards greater socialism. For a short time, Joe became the "embodiment" if you will of the concerned economic fiscally conservative voter. And he had some sway with influencing McCain's campaign.
There is a chance that this guy can become famous along the same lines of Joe the Plumber except in his case it could potentially attract more people to RP's foreign policy. The fact that he is a vet an was ardently supportive of Ron Paul in that short interview would be an eye-opener for anyone watching. The Obama (antagonizing) moment if you will in his case came when he was cut off while explaining why he approves of Dr. Paul's foreign policy. This guy shed a powerful positive light on RP's non-interventionist approach, and may be the key to finally waking people up to see the light. Just like Joe the Plumber inadvertently did on Obama socialism.
Just some of my crazy, spinning thoughts right now.
