We Can Turn the Vet on CNN Into Ron Paul's Joe the Plumber

Joe the Plumber was plucked from obscurity after he asked a simple question to Obama while he was campaigning - the rest was history. Obama's response to Joe's question became famous, and opened a lot of people's eyes to what the consequences of an Obama presidency could be, a path towards greater socialism. For a short time, Joe became the "embodiment" if you will of the concerned economic fiscally conservative voter. And he had some sway with influencing McCain's campaign.

There is a chance that this guy can become famous along the same lines of Joe the Plumber except in his case it could potentially attract more people to RP's foreign policy. The fact that he is a vet an was ardently supportive of Ron Paul in that short interview would be an eye-opener for anyone watching. The Obama (antagonizing) moment if you will in his case came when he was cut off while explaining why he approves of Dr. Paul's foreign policy. This guy shed a powerful positive light on RP's non-interventionist approach, and may be the key to finally waking people up to see the light. Just like Joe the Plumber inadvertently did on Obama socialism.

Just some of my crazy, spinning thoughts right now.

He said he was going back for another tour so I doubt he will be like Joe and hang around the scene.

Though i appreciate him coming up there to talk and to speak out. I do not believe he should have done that in uniform. He is DEFINETLY going to get charged under UCMJ for that.

him getting discharged will launch his status...sounded like he was all set with war at this point anyway....

I just wished it was worth the risk. Unfortunately for the soldier he screwed up when given the chance to speak his mind about foreign policy. And he will be in trouble tomorrow. Didn't quite work out for him.

According to the NDAA, if Obama decides he is a terrorist, he could whisk him away to a foreign prison and that would be the end of any further word about him.

Or, just assassinate him. Legally.

New Hampshire, we are counting on you! Give us a strong second!! Narrow this field, even though the media propaganda tries hard to gain power over your minds!

He's probably going to be brought up on ucmj charges for that.
Ya I think so too, but maybe it's time that we challenge this rule. Maybe if they try and press him, troops will support him and could eventually lift our gag order, which I think would be good for Paul. (I can only dream can't I)

It would be "Jesse The Soldier". It's a dangerous idea though, it would cause nightmares for neocon media bosses and even for Obama's masters.

I knew the moment he was speaking in uniform that he made a mistake in that sense. I'm surprised the campaign let him do that in uniform. He will get brought up on charges....just like Adam K. Fair or not...you volunteer and sign up, knowingly willing subject yourself to the UCMJ.

he was doing good before he was cut out,
but he should have said all the things when Ron asked him to come to the stage. that was a time to say something about foreign policy, but he just got too nervous or excited at the wrong time.
