We Ask America Iowa GOP Poll

I know that this poll probably isn't a legitimate polling organization, but these polls are starting to worry me.

Very weird. Reads like a Romney advertisement and states no polling methodology.

discarded.

This 'weak ass America' poll doesn't mirror any others in terms of, not only Paul's numbers, but undecideds as well. Plus its a poll of registered republicans who have caucused before, aka take out any young or independent Paul supporters.

I say ignore this one.

I wouldn't worry. I have posted 4-5 polls from this organization, and every time it polls Paul worse than any other organization.

GOP only, PPP broke out that Ron has 39% of the 24% of the planned caucusers who are NOT currently GOP but will change registration at the caucus.

This is a 'narrative' poll, not a prediction poll. They are trying to create a narrative. Well, two narratives but the 'Romney winning / Santorum rising' ones are very GOP voter only centric.

I hope the Des Moines register poll looks better for us.

This is just among registered Republicans, so independents aren't factored in.

Still, this poll is out of the ordinary among registered Republicans. This one, the Insider Advantage one, and the ARG one are far below the PPP, CNN, and NBC numbers among registered Republicans- and the latter three are more reputable, IMO.

Note: they say nothing about their methodology.

Right now, I would say the polls show a tie between Paul and Romney. It's going to come down to getting out the vote and organization.

look at the disclaimer of the article:
Of course, the madcap Iowa caucus system offers lots of chances for rapid ascent and descent–and bad weather can improve the prospects of those candidates with good corn-fed organizations…like Ron Paul.

:) they expect to be wrong with the poll :p

well its just lucky that santorum and Romney have well oiled gotv campaigns... oh wait.

This is just a return to our mean. We have had a lot of buzzy soft support the past week or two.

The game is still about showing up.

On the upside Romney needs a blow out victory to avoid looking unwanted now.

i wouldn't give this "poll" very much thought. the poll to watch is the DMR poll. that is considered to be the gold standard of iowa caucus polls.

It's completely out of line with other recent, more reputable polls. On the garbage heap it goes.
