Watch Woman Cry Tears of Disgust Over Receiving Ron Paul Book for Christmas

I applaud Vechorik for wanting the record set straight on The Blaze. To me, it seems more important to go correct something over there than on something like HuffPo, which I have seen hoards want to go right over to when something incorrect is written. Contrary to what some, including me, think of some of Beck's words/actions, many of the people who listen to him are only one stumbling block away from becoming Paul's supporters.

If you've been in this deal since the last election, it's hard not to get a bit bitter over the lies that the media have spouted about Ron Paul. That is why it is so important to have newer blood, like vechorik, reminding us not to give up.

Just my 2 cents + a video. :)

That's a good clip showing a sovereign entity saying, "...leave us alone (stop meddling), we can take care of ourselves." It's the same principle many of us support in our personal lives.

Remember, You Tube is always behind on the view count. It is not real-time.
Right, but still they were already calling it viral. Now it's gone. That hardly qualifies as viral. It was just another lie from "The Blaze".

Ron Paul is a strong supporter of Israel. He respects their national sovereignty and wants their chains removed so that they can defend their own country in the way they think best. Rather than having to ask our permission before doing so.

Ron Paul Christmas Gift Makes Woman Cry - Yahoo News

Yahoo has been posting hit piece after hit piece against Dr. Paul. I don't know if this video is authentic or some kind of propaganda, but it is scary either way.

My favorite response in the comments section is "Why is yahoo deliberately trying to ruin this guys name? Now I really must look into Ron Paul."

I think that Yahoo and the MSM is experiencing blowback from their blatant bias.

umm... since when it is improper to make factual statements in your writings? they may offend someone, maybe even to the point of crying, but does it make the point any less valid? they practice religious segregation. it's fact. it happens. end of story.

why do people just blindly ignore anything even remotely negative about israel? state sponsored abortion? no problem, evangelicals love them for it. religious/racial segregation? ah what the hell... still fine in my book lol.

if you go to the youtube video itself the description of the video is

"tee hee..."

The video has under 300 views and was uploaded yesterday; how exactly did they find this video? Secondly, if she just opened it for Christmas and they were filming 'gift opening' or whatever how is it that she's already toward the end of the book? And why is the camera fixated on her even before she has her unbelievable emotional breakdown over some words in a book. Makes no sense.

I believe it to be a set-up so Yahoo could frame it like they did. At the bottom of the article they ask, "what are your views on the woman‘s reaction and Paul’s views on Israel? Do you believe Paul thinks there is merit to the “Israel is an apartheid state” argument? Weigh in below." When the audience of the article hasn't even HEARD Paul's argument, how would they know if there's merit?

Ha! Ha! Choose your battles wisely!

I wrote the guy that promoted the video and received this response: VIDEO PULLED!

"matt schrader

its been pulled

you know the fake ron paul book bullshit story
Sent to: vechorik"

--------------------
So now I'm asking the Blaze why are they promoting Mat Schrader's name to a video he PULLED?
Fun -- gonna work a bit more on this -- then Call from home about 1 PM

THIRD VERSION OF THE ARTICLE = almost success. Writes that the VIDEO IS FAKED!

She selected a version of the book to make Dr. Paul look anti-Israel when in fact Dr. Paul is against all sanctions and calls them "acts of war" -- Am I right on that part?
I'm working on getting that part straight too.

(new title too) Watch Woman Cry Tears of Disgust Over Receiving Ron Paul Book for Christmas — Staged?

"The following is a video of a young woman receiving Ron Paul’s book “Liberty Defined” as a Christmas present. Rather than express joy over her gift, however, upon reading an excerpt from the book aloud in which Paul allegedly refers to Israel as an “apartheid state,” the woman cries. Whether this was a staged event remains to be verified, but in the video the woman displays shock and horror over Paul’s views on Israel and is visibly displeased with her Yuletide gift.

Bloggers on other websites claim that in Liberty Defined, Paul is not calling Israel an apartheid state himself, but is actually referring to questions raised by the liberal party in Israel over perceived “apartheid” conditions.

A Yahoo commenter with the screen-name “Need Nationalism” shares what he claims are Paul’s actual words:

“Meanwhile, within Israeli politics, there is a great deal of debate and diversity of opinion. The Liberal party in Israel often raises questions about the apartheid conditions that Palestinians are subjected to. “

It should be noted, however, that in Liberty Defined (in addition to comments made outside the book) Paul makes no secret of the fact that he deems the Israeli blockade of Palestinians in Gaza as ”inhumane.” In that portion of the book, Paul does not include the context or security reasons for Israel’s blockade.

“Blockading the Palestinians in Gaza has proven to be a dangerous and inhumane policy that has precipitated a worldwide condemnation of Israel,” writes Paul. Many supporters of Israel, however, will likely find such comments in line with the “Israel is an apartheid state” narrative commonly adopted by Israel’s foes.

Not much else is known about this video except that, according to Mediaite, it is going viral…and that, if this is not a staged reaction, the woman is not on board with Paul’s politics.

The Blaze contacted a source familiar with the making of the video who claims the scene was captured by a Matthew Conrad of Escondido, California during a Christmas gathering on Saturday. The man’s sister — presumably the one seen in the video — allegedly uploaded the clip to a Twitter service before ultimately taking it down. The source also claims that the video was “slightly staged,“ noting the woman ”over-acts” as soon as she sees the camera. See for yourself below:

Do you think this video is staged at all? If it isn’t, what are your views on the woman‘s reaction and Paul’s views on Israel? Do you believe Paul thinks there is merit to the “Israel is an apartheid state” argument? Weigh in below.

This article has been updated for clarity. "

a very serious question, do think they really give a fuck about the truth when it doesn't fit their agenda? really?
you think tiffany will say, 'oh, i'm sorry Ron- I just didn't know" and retract her BS?

if it happens let me know, i'll let your smear it in my face.

Okaaaaaaaaaaaay! Where is torchbearer? He needs to read the correction.

THIS is the one with the right idea:
