Was it grassroots?

It was grassroots and art bell.. Art Bell is the #1 late night talk show host in America and lives in Nye county where Paul beat Romney and got over 400 votes..

Bell publicly endorsed Ron Paul and it shows you the power of the media.. If Ron got the attention McCain has had from the MSM, Paul would be running away with this entire race

.

Grassroots pretty much IS the campaign. Where do you think they get the money to buy the ads?

there were also TV/radio appearances, the tax free tips act in las vegas...
I'd like to hear from some of the meetups in the successful counties

+10,000

MSM has interests beyond ratings...

There were a few ads on TV last night for RP, but nowhere near as many as Mitt played....

I think it was both. We had TV and radio ads, but I felt the TV ads came a little late. People need a week or two to soak in the info on the canidate and really develop a connection. I think if Dr. Paul can focus on the West Coast he can really pull some big percentages in those states. The west has lots of people with open minds and really looking for a canidate of change.

I live in Nye County, just up the street from Art Bell. My boss is a close personal friend of Art Bell.
Please show me the link where Art Bell publicly endorsed Ron Paul. I have been hoping for it for a long time.

We worked our ass off, but we couldn't have done this without the people the campaign sent us.

The 'air support' of ads & radio helped a good deal too.

It was grassroots as well as ads. The other thing we had going was that none of the other candidates except Romney put much of an effort into Nevada. This is why we can still do well in the Super Tuesday states. They have been largely ignored, and there aren't a lot of advertising dollars left among the other candidates.

Nye County has a mountain with some BIG man-made holes in it. Paul was one of the only nay votes on forcing Nye to eat the rest of the nation's nuclear waste.

Campaign ran a call center for 10 days prior the caucus. In that time, we made 8000 individual calls with 2200 confirmed caucus goers. Multiply by 1.8 average household voters, that comes out to 4050 caucus goers. We pushed for confirmation then helped people know when and where to caucus in spite of the NV GOP ######## up caucus locations for all of Washoe and Clark county which were the largest percentage of votes. I'm grassroots volunteering, but I have to say campaign stepped up the game and made NV shine because Ron got 30-40% of the delegates.
