I don't think Wanda Sykes was making fun of Ron Paul or even being negative towards him in any way.. She was more making fun, an impression, of Trump questioning other candidates.

I think people seeing this are not considering one thing: Celebrities are now knowing who Ron Paul is and I expect come 2012 many will be open to endorsing him, more than 2008 at least.

I agree with the first sentence. The rest is irrelevant. And I would extend that sentiment to Herman Cain, Fox News polls, the energy spent on intel on issues that matter to 2% of voters, and all the other diversions everyone seems so focused on. If Fox News, MSM, terrorists, big government supporters, and other anti-liberty people wanted to provides distractions so Ron Paul supporters would focus all their energies on meaningless pursuits, they are winning.

Don't get too worked up guys, she is a comedian and is just going for cheap laughs. I don't find her very funny either.

Ron Paul Johnson wouldn't have been funny.

Ron Paul Hitler isn't (all that) funny, either, but I don't read any menace into this.

And then you have, you know, then they say, 'Well, he has a funny name.' You know? Barack Obama. There's been white guys with funny names. Newt Gingrich. What the hell is a Newt Gingrich? Oh, no, that's acceptable. Where was Newt Gingrich born? Atlantis? What the hell?

Ron Paul. Ron Paul what? You got two first names. Ron Paul what? What are you hiding, Ron Paul? What are you - Ron Paul Hitler? What's your name? What's your name? Really?

Her point is that he probably has a last name that he's protecting. There's not too many last names to insert into that joke that would make it work. Hussein, bin Laden, Hitler...
