Walmart abandoning cities in response to out of control theft

No idea how it is in the cess pool cities but here I can selectively use Menards , local grocer ( bought out by kroger) , local butcher, dollar tree , dollar store, local owned liquor store chain , aldi etc and buy everything better and cheaper than walmart. walmart just has the worst parking lots not the best deals, I wouldnt buy meat there but its OK for oil if they are out at Rural King.

I shop at a lot of locals but there are still some things I can only get at Walmart that are cheap & essential to some of my family members well-being.

Walmart is racist. Minorities live in the communities they refuse to service.

In the little town I lived in years ago, there was a better selction of lawn mowers in the quarters than at wal mart, in the event they didnt have what someone wanted they would put a hit out on it and it would arrive in a day or two unless t required wal mat ship it in.

In this day and age many items are not stocked at big box stores. Maybe lawnmowers are available but maybe refrigerators not so much. It could prove to be difficult to purchase a same day refrigerator or laundry appliance. With that said, if the big box is going to order it and you have to wait, a buyer could just order themselves from the cheapest place and get it delivered to their driveway. No need for big box if there is nothing in the box.

The folks in the quarters had a supply all ready stolen, if they need one they dodnt have they put a hit put on it, boom it got stolen.
