What's funny about this is that NH, of all places, still has state run liquor stores, a throwback to the days right after prohibition.
They are the only places you can legally buy hard liquor in NH.
But because it is a high trust society due to its homogeneity, these stores actually work, provide booze at a low price, make a profit for the taxpayers, with a huge selection and stock, with little to no theft.
