This is so bizzare.

I checked out 2 hours ago and Schiff and the GOP's Pelosi were neck-and-neck with 15k-20k votes each.

Simmons only had a laughable 350 votes and was at 1%.

How did Simmons manage to get 15% of the votes now? What is going on here? Did he suddenly recruit an army of spammers? There is no way those are all real votes.

Seems that they took the poll offline. This reminds me for some reason of Ron Paul's campaign. All that being said, there clearly was cheating on all sides. Schiff had the best cheater-supporters, if that counts for anything. In some ways I don't blame people for cheating. Simmons-supporters were clearly cheating, and if they had let them win the poll may have become official news. It is too bad these sites are too incompetent to put up cheat-resistant polls. I am curious what the real numbers are.

I'd have liked to see a real vote as well....but it was just too lame to see McMahon getting 50+ votes a minute until she hit 2000-2500, then immediately taper off until Schiff caught back up. Better that the poll get flooded and disappear than Linda winning it in a landslide due to cheating.
