I showed this to my government students earlier today, along with the Afghanistan Kill Team photos and videos. I think it's important that people get exposed to videos like this in order to counterract all the rah rah "support the troops" propaganda that we are constantly exposed to.

If we want to be consistent then the thread title should read "Mostly Christian soldiers killing unarmed Muslims" simply because if the situation was reversed you would have definitely heard Muslim and Islam in the title. Furthermore, it would be on every propaganda medium's front pages, but since the "civilized" folks carried out the cold blooded murder of cave dwelling third class heathens - nothing to see here, get back to your daily routine of being a serf.

BucksforPaul, even if your characterization has some merit, terms like "christians", muslims", "jews" tend to be often too broad brushing and indicative of group think or religious fundamentalist/stereo typical mindset. Religion is a tool used by all sides, real tragedy here is a depiction of human capacity to act like animals and no single religion/ethinicity/tribe has monoply over such a lowly conduct.

As is, this thread OP does a great job of bringing an important aspect of our so called freedom adventures to light. Hard to find fault with an accurate, secular, objective depiction of something gone horrible.

All true and my intention was not to belittle the OP's effort of bringing truth forward. I understand the group think ideology that exists and was just pointing out that if the roles in that video were reversed, the propagandists would definitely bring terms like Islam and Muslim. In fact, forum members who specialize in the aforementioned are oddly missing from this thread.
