Kevin, I'm with you on this and seems these guys/girls will never get it. What I find funny is the hypocrisy of Ron, the campaign, and this board, I saw an E-mail from the campaign that was reposted here instructing supporters to "dress and act like Republicans". Where where all the "principles" arguments - it was silent. Funny how if the campaign compromises for the good of the election it's OK, if any of us peons suggest it we get attacked.
Ron should not have ever said let's empathize with Iran, nor should he have said killing their scientists was terrorism, I doubt if even liberals would agree with him on that, I'm almost starting to think Ron is an all-out pacifist and maybe the media does have a point at times.
Are you sure you're really for RP? Saying he's a hypocrite is going too far, don't you think?
As far as the 'dressing like Republicans'...I never saw that but will take your word on it. You seem to take personal insult at that, but it's just being practical. RP has the youth vote but not the older folks. Especially in light of the behavior of some young folks at the OWS this past year, it's just good sense to not give people any reason to have negative associations about RP, whether rightly or wrongly.
The fact is that no one can win a national election without substantial support from several demographics. Let's get real here.
BTW, I'm FAR from a liberal, but fully agree that assassinating scientists in their own country IS terrorism. What else would you call it?
