[Video] Sen. Rand Paul's speech at CPAC 2011

Thank you!! I will have to watch it later, unfortunately, but I am so glad it is there! The heckling bit sounds horrible. I am really bummed about how our guys -- or people pretending to be our guys -- seem to have turned lemons out of lemonaide. Maybe it will look better when I have more time to look into what happened. I'm just checking in, and it sure sounds bad from the discussion on other threads.
 
The Rand Paul speech at CPAC was amazing. Probably the best speech he has ever given.

He straight called out NEO-CONS without saying it to their face. Rand really knows how to play "the game" He is a Liberty SUPERSTAR!!!
 
Yep, fantastic speech. Standing ovation for ending the Dept of Ed and all the young people (and others) were standing when he asked if anyone would like opt out of SS. Later on he was talking about how we can't go along with incrementalism and that we need to defend liberty. He went on to say that one person can make a difference and then someone from the crowd yells out "Ron Paul!" (followed by applause) which made Rand pause and smile for a few moments before continuing on. Major standing ovation at the end.
 
Love when they cut to the old RINO neocons who just sit there speechless at Rand and the tea party.
 
Love Rand's speech. Moffett's intro was as exciting as a prostate exam and as appropriate as a public prostate exam. The dude after had a lame intro getting ready for Rummie.
 
Best thing we have going for Ron Paul for prez, is Rand Paul.

Really sucks we have to run for the same spot as the Neo-Cons. I really hate being around them. See how pissed its gets us? Revolutionaries are always punks. Who went to CPAC to impress the establishment with our manners?
 
Thanks again. He uses charm well. It was a good speech and he reacted well. I had seen part of it before, but he did a terrific job.

I am really bummed by the way we soured a chance to charm people at CPAC, though. It doesn't make much difference if some of the liberal press cheers RP supporters, if the run of the mill conservatives hate us. The liberal press will never vote for our candidates.

That attitude will lose your candidates elections. Not just fail to win others, it turns them off. Most of the world are not punks.

True, but Obama got elected by those punks. And believe me, not many of them want him for 4 more years.
