[Video] Rand Paul vs. Chris Christie on the 4th amendment

Nope, he didn't. He pointlessly interjected himself into Donald's answer like a jester to score some points with .......(?)
I really have no idea what he was trying to accomplish with this one .....

Donald Trump is an ultra-liberal. Rand pointed that out. I'm surprised the other cowards on that stage didn't interject more.

Yes, but his exchanges with Trump will undermine the eye roll. He might be relegated to the clown category. He should have not been attacking Trump at all.
You attack those ahead of you. Single Payer=Obama Obama, bad. "You're not a Republican" and Trump didn't refute that. Remember how Ron took that statement on? "I'm more Republican than anyone up here......"

Oh and kudos to O'Reilly. I don't know how he knew it but he called it that Rand would attack Trump.

Why would he ? Rand's "attack" was jester like. He was like - WTF is this clown doing ?

The first attack was spot on. I don't know what primary you were watching. The second not so much. Rand should have left it where it was. He took the fight to Trump early on and it played well. If you don't think so then....shrug.

Nah I really liked that he attacked trump, but I think he could of made a better argument though, when he said he buys and sells politicians he should of qualified it with, he would vow to fight for term limits so politicians in congress cant manipulate the system to benefit them on the backs of the tax payers. or that he would send them home

I thought Rand did great on that with Christie too. However, FOX is saying that Christie bested Rand on it. Ugh.

Well the American people might think, "that was cheap going after Christie for giving Obama a hug -- but Christie is such a sweet heart for hugging the families of the victims..." and if that's what they think, then yeah, Christie definitely came out ahead.

But Rand will appeal to people who think.

So he's doomed.

Christie Lied About Being Appointed U.S. Attorney on Sept. 10, 2001

Christie was rumored for the appointment in early September, pre-9/11, but wasn’t officially nominated for the post until December of that year, and wasn’t confirmed until January 2002. ThinkProgress points out that the New Jersey Star-Ledger and the New York Times back up this version of events, not Christie’s “day before the attacks” narrative.

Why Did Chris Christie Say He Was Appointed U.S. Attorney The Day Before 9/11 When He Wasn’t?

http://thinkprogress.org/election/2015/08/07/3689230/chris-christie-september-10/

...Bush didn’t actually nominate him until December 7 of that year, and he did not assume office until early 2002. The “Meet Chris” section on Christie’s campaign website says that he “served as U.S. Attorney from 2002-2008.

edit: 1000th Post!!!

Me too !
I'd liken it to getting in a quick jab/trash talk at the receiver across the line for
the opening play of the game - Trump knows Rand is there - even if far off the center stage position.

Maybe not a perfect song for this but . . .
