[Video] Rand Paul vs. Chris Christie on the 4th amendment

I was more pissed that when Megyn tried bringing up Rand's exchange with Christie after the debate, she was cut off as they quickly switched topics.

Say what you will about Megyn Kelly, but the way she setup that question was an absolute gift to Rand.

i had no problems with the questions last night...their job is to grill the candidates on their prior statements and stances.

I"m happy with Rand's performance. Not sure it will move the needle up or down for him, but it certainly didn't hurt him. Shocked as hell to see the Donald winning all the online polls. I thought he did terrible.

I am VERY happy that Jeb tripped all over himself, however.

Dr. Carson was great.

Ted Cruz just looks like such a slime ball with his unconvincing facial expressions... looks like a used card salesmen bred with a cheesy televangelist.

no kidding....look at that little pee-pee...my pinkie finger is bigger than that fat dicks dick...

Let's be gentlemen and not bring dimensions into the discussion. There are many more men with a very similar problem. Let's not alienate voters. :D

This is how the exchange went ...

Rand Paul: "Use the 4th Amendment!"

Chris Christie: "4th amendment of what?"

Really? I thought Rand won very exchange he had last night.

I know, you're a poster posting at RonPaulForums. Outside of RonPaulForums, it will be very hard to find people who think he won his exchange with Trump. Rand won his exchange with Christie, and many people recognized he won that one.

Nope, he didn't. He pointlessly interjected himself into Donald's answer like a jester to score some points with .......(?)
I really have no idea what he was trying to accomplish with this one .....

Look, Trump wanted no part of Rand. Go back and look at his eyes during that exchange, says it all. I'll give Christie credit for at least trying to debate with Rand on substance and policy even though he was wrong, but Trump on the other hand wouldn't dare go there. I was unsure myself before that exchange, but after seeing it last night Rand would eat Trump alive in a real debate of policy/substance. Trump is not stupid, he knows this, which is why he gave the little BS response he gave and let them move on. And no, I'm not just saying that because we're on Rand Paul forums, or I'm a supporter of Rand's. You could read Trump's eyes, and body language, he'll never NEVER admit it, but he absolutely wanted no part of Rand last night.

^you're talking about a different issue, maybe your reply should be to someone else?

I was mentioning the exchange of last night and whether Rand won that one, not about what it might mean for a future exchange on a future debate when Trump might be afraid of Rand. When that point comes, I might evaluate it at that moment, and put last night's exchange in that context. But I haven't talked about any of that, so your post doesn't dispute anything I said.

The hardcore spinning you're doing I guess would be hard to find outside of RonPaulForums.

Why would he ? Rand's "attack" was jester like. He was like - WTF is this clown doing ?

I thought Rand did great on that with Christie too. However, FOX is saying that Christie bested Rand on it. Ugh.

Authoritarians always cheer on this sort of thing. I thought he did very well last night, this exchange was great. I'm pretty sure I rolled my eyes at the exact same moment he did when Christie was talking about hugging people.

Yes, but his exchanges with Trump will undermine the eye roll. He might be relegated to the clown category. He should have not been attacking Trump at all.

Actually, the exchange with Chris might be played after the debate a lot more, so in this sense the Trump exchange is not that important.

Sure he should.

Didn't really occur to me until yesterday, but to win this anti-establishment, red meat vote, sometimes you have to call a bluff or two.

Rand may have gone a long way toward getting on the red meat radar if he provoked a little cowardly body language--and certain voters get exposed to t00bs of it.
