[Video] Rand Paul on Hannity 6/1

He shouldn't have.

From a truth standpoint, since McCain's lunacy did help create ISIS, he shouldn't have walked back his words. As a matter of practical politics, he is probably going to have to walk back some of his remarks on the senate floor a tad, if for no other reason than to move himself a little closer to the Mike Lee/Ted Cruz position so that he doesn't become too easy of a target for the Neocons. Now is the time to step back and let Lindsey Graham make a fool out of himself.

Hannity wasn't that hard on Rand.

Hannity seemed to agree more with Sensebrenner, Rand, and Mike Lee. He cut off Steve King a couple times.

In my opinion it was a fair interview. The question about Hawks creating ISIS is a fair question - and Rand did a decent job clarifying.

I disagree, because his original remarks didn't come across well at all and hurt him with GOP voters. What he should've said instead is that hawks in both parties made the threat of ISIS worse than it would've been otherwise due to their support for foreign intervention. That's essentially what he said tonight on Hannity's show.

Actually shocked he seems to be for upholding the 4th amendment on the spying...unfortunately he still loves the PA.

Okay that shirt and tie Rand. Please don't ever wear that on TV.

I didn't see the interview but yea Rand certainly isn't known for his fashion haha.

Rand's gotta bring this back!

(and yes I'm joking!)

Astonishing level of fashion disaster. No good excuse for this. So maybe it's on purpose for some kind of anti-image, but I doubt it.

Are we going to be dealing with another "wardrobe malfunction" ?

He should just hire someone to take measurements and go pick out some shirts, ties, suits, socks, and shoes. And even detail which make acceptable matchings, if necessary. He doesn't need to spend any time on it and it's probably only about $20K well spent.

Rand did well. On the whole blaming hawks for ISIS, I think if he's going to slightly backtrack it he should say why he made the statement to begin with. It was an off the cuff response to crazy hawks BLAMING HIM for Isis. I think that is crucially important and the media is twisting it as if Rand went out of his way to pick a fight. Just something I hope he adds in the future, but again overall I'd say Rand did well.

Arrgghh!! That shirt and tie combo! WTF, Rand?

That's it, from now on Kelley has to lay out his clothes each morning. :p
