Thanks for link. I have mixed feelings about Rand's colorful language. On the one hand it is less presidential, but on the other hand, talking more like regular Americans helps connect with voters, particularly the "someone you could have a beer with" voters. At this point I'm not sure if the way he speaks in this manner is deliberate or if it's just his personality coming out. Since he is pretty obviously running for president, it wouldn't surprise me if he has already given it some thought or been advised about it, and is doing it as a political calculation. Or is it too early?

It's plain to me that he's been advised to use more demotic language to make himself seem relatable. The comparison to interviews he gave as little as two years ago is rather stark.

i've been giving him advice on how to shock people via 'colorful' language that you would hear in a church parking lot, but the main thing is, Rand is a very intelligent person. His resume' is quite stellar. So, the way i feel is, if someone like Rand Paul, with his resume', and the fact he can cut an eyeball open and give someone sight, and then gets elected as a US Senator, well, ya know, ya just gotta say fuck it, and Rand can say fuck-a-doodle doo on Wolf Blitzer's show, and i would still admire him.....and most likely vote him in as Prez....fuck yeah...
