Video game streaming equipment seized by the DHS

So wait, they were streaming competitive games so other people can watch in, right? I can't believe they did that over some team speak lingo..

The problem with IP laws is that they take something that isn't real property and use it as an excuse to take somebody's ACTUAL REAL PROPERTY.

Correct. Team Spooky streams Mortal Kombat tournaments on Justin.tv

If they want to hear some wild talk, have them spy on Uncharted 2 death matches on the PSN.

this was a huge blow to us in arizona as team spooky was expected to come here to stream our e-sports tournament "Devastation" for the fighters portion. team spooky streams not just mortal kombat, but other major fighters such as super street fighter 4 arcade edition and marvel vs capcom 3. they're in the process of trying to get their equipment back, but worst case scenario they may not get it back at all from what one of the team members say. i really hope they get their equipment back and not just because of the tournament here, but it was wrong of DHS to confiscate it in the first place.
