That was a horrible response and Matthews knew it. He asked about Rand's comment about NEOCON and watched her trip all over herself... he was smiling like "Holy shit this woman is the Comm Director and can't even come up with 2 complete sentences!" Then he smiles and talks to her like a baby, "OK.. here's a dove and here's a Hawk... which is it?"

She can as long as they remain on point and only talk about their talking points. What happened here was she was caught off guard because someone called Billary out in a way that is not the norm. I am sure they are in their dusty backrooms now coming up with a counter to that. She was just caught off guard.

Let me get this straight. The communications director for Hillary was just raving about unpredictable questions and how they led to a good conversation.. and then Chris asked her a.. wait for it, 'unpredictable question' that had her squirming and stuttering incoherence to the point where one could mistake her for hitting the after party before the party. Ok, got it.

Boy oh boy.. a Rand vs Hillary match up looks like it would be wildly entertaining!
