I can't believe he would tweet that.

More red pills for the public consumption. Never be able to look at a Samsung TV or smart device the same way again.

Germany's chief federal prosecutor has announced examination of U.S. hacking activities at the Frankfurt 'Consulate' and may prosecute.

What's all this noise about the cia leaks?
We've known for over 10 years that all spy agencies
can turn on your mic and camera to see and hear everything.
Only fools think this is special news.
This is just one big smokescreen and the establishment normally do big scandals like this
before starting a major war!!

Only govt. shills and idiots try to downplay this huge revelations.
It is not about the new informations, it is about proofs,
that the very limited group of people was right about the abuse of power and technology.
CIA spies on us, the people, is not a conspiracy anymore.
Proofs were released, instruments named.
Consequences are already visible - Germany investigates CIA hacking base in Frankfurt.
The ground is shaking, you fool.

So, news reports say that the FBI is preparing to hunt for "moles" within the CIA. I don't suppose they would consider reading the wikileaks and investigate the CIA for any impropriety.

All this power to survey and spy, even FISA taps.
Where the hell is ANY evidence of Russian hacking of the elections?

OK,, folks are going over the hacking tools and exploits. and some were known others suspected.

several reports include linux.. so I went looking for any info on potential or known threats.

Best I got is from the pclinuxos forum,,

There's a big difference between an os having vulnerabilities and one having a built-in back-door. one is a temporary state due to a coding flaw (correctable via patching), the other is permanent and by design. every os will have vulnerabilities but not all os'es have back-doors.

in order to say Linux has such a back-door and have that statement make any impact you would have to point to the code and as soon as you do it would be patched. this is the nature of open source code.
On that particular forum there seems to be no concern at all.

your mileage and OS may differ,

FBI Director James Comey warned Wednesday that Americans should not have expectations of "absolute privacy," adding that he planned to finish his term leading the FBI.
"There is no such thing as absolute privacy in America..."
"Even our communications with our spouses, with our clergy members, with our attorneys are not absolutely private in America," Comey added.

Wikileaks needs to release EVERYTHING in a mass dump NOW. They can release as encrypted files with a failsafe method for release of the passwords. In this way they can still release it a bit at a time but still have it distributed widely in case of some attack against them.
