Using Google adwords to get some voters

How about we use Google adwords to try to get some voters in November?

We could target certain keywords, hehheheh.

No. Just run them on your own. It's a great idea. I believe if you're spending $5,000 (or some amount) or more then you may need to do it through a PAC. If you run ads, use a landing page relevant to your keywords and pre-sell people on Ron Paul, like a youtube video, your personal story, a page with a little intro for a video, a chart with Ron Paul compared to Obama and McCain, etc. Sending people directly to a site like www.ronpaul2008.com isn't as effective to someone who's never heard of RP. For a Ron Paul newbie, www.RonPaulIsHope.com is a ton more powerful than just www.RonPaul2008.com

how about we use adbrite instead of adwords and pay around $0.05 per click. Adwords you can waste $0.40 per click. Adbrite offers cheap clicks

Anybody can do it, just open account with adbrite, give them ur cc info, create your ad, set daily limit to $5, set your target audience (stay away from adult sites).

C'mon man.. waste of time promoting garbage. "Clicking ads" - that's click fraud and just robbing the advertisers. If you were running Ron Paul ads, would you like people mindlessly clicking YOUR ads and wasting YOUR money? Ha.. gotcha.

We talked about doing this before, but not overt RP ads - more like:

Worried about inflation? or Food costs are going up, is your wage? or variations on the "Got Milk" theme - like: Got Freedom? Got Civil Rights? etc.

Another idea was pulling together links and/or information on useful everyday stuff - like glueing things or spot removal and advertising those - but the page they would be directed to would have that with RP info between listings or on the side...

One of those poll sites would be good to: Who do you want to be president? then list them and a bit about each and include Paul. Needless to say the about them would be very blunt about what you could expect from them...

do you really want to pay $0.40-$0.50 per click??? i guess run CPM instead of CPC campaign and use site targeting. Target social networks because they are cheap traffic.
