US bombs "narco-terrorist" boats in Caribbean, Pacific

The Coast Guard reports that over 3/4 of the boats they stop have drugs. That’s a great job and an admirable record for accurate information.

But it’s not so great if you’re droning them instead of arresting them. If you’re killing people, 1 out of 4 potentially being wrong is too many.

Killing anyone for selling drugs is wrong. I guess you could say that it's even worse if you killed someone for fishing I suppose.

Imagine if Venezuela starting bombing US boats in the Keys, claiming they were drug dealers.

Promoting his upcoming book in April 2016, Hegseth was asked, “Can you comment on soldiers who are being held at Leavenworth Prison for being soldiers?”

Hegseth said, “There are some guys at Leavenworth who made really bad choices on the battlefield, and I do think there have to be consequences for abject war crimes,” he said. “If you’re doing something that is just completely unlawful and ruthless, then there is a consequence for that.”

“That’s why the military said it won’t follow unlawful orders from their commander in chief,” he added. “There’s a standard, there’s an ethos, there’s a belief that we are above what so many things that our enemies or others would do.”

Its not just as simple as selling drugs when it comes to narco terrorism.

These drug cartels are putting drugs into American cities that are killing millions of Americans and these cartels are violently overthrowing governments in the region.

These terrorists spread their influence and kill millions of people and they are in many cases geopolitically aligned with adversarial governments around the world.

They don't have to attack our ships because they are attacking us here at home. We are just defending ourselves.

Everyone involved should be prosecuted for a war crime: Judge Andrew Napolitano | National Report

"Judge Andrew Napolitano argued that a follow-up strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea violated laws requiring the rescue of survivors on Tuesday’s “National Report.”"

100,000 Americans die from drug overdoses each year, not millions. And almost all of these are people who choose to take the drugs.

Is this problem exacerbated by drugs being adulterated with fentanyl? Yes. And the war on drugs is not a solution to that problem. It's what causes the problem in the first place.

Its a retarded argument.

I know cars kill people every year but we made them safer. We put in things like air bags and automatic breaking systems.

We reinvented the wheel and we made better wheels.

We didn't just surrender people to car deaths and say well thats just collateral damage to having cars.

We also held atuomakers accountable, like Ford, for knowingly keeping dangerous cars on the market, like the PInto.

There's no evidence that Venezuela has anything to do with fentynal, which is the main drug killing people these days, or that Venezela is a major supplier of drugs of any kind to the U.S. It's stupid an arrogant to think that the U.S. is the only market for cociane, which is the main drug that flows through Venezuela. Most fentynal reaches to U.S. via Mexico.

Who said anything about only going after Venezuela.

Trump has designated the cartels that operate in these regions as terrorists.

In many cases they operate outside of government and they operate inside of our cities.

In some countries they are more powerful than the governments.

These narco terrorists overthrow governments and some of them are closely tied with adversarial governments.

Their influence has expanded into every state in the union.

They have plenty of evidence of who these people are. We spent 20 years fighting a war on terror and the satellites and surveillance and intelligence infrastructure we spent trillions of dollars creating exists to find these kinds of people.

This isn't the 1980s anymore where finding a needle in a haystack costs too much because we have enough compute power to find a needle in a stack of pacific oceans.
