This is my first post, so forgive me if I've breached convention or something.

T.V. Ads:
The official campaign, if it really wants to win, and not just foment a movement (laudable in its own right) must change its T.V. advertising. The superiority of the T.V. ads done by suppoters to those done by the official campaign is striking and indisputable. The success of the campaign depends, in my mind, entirely upon the successful dissemination of Dr. Paul's message. The dire issues that are facing our country, impending economic collapse, deterioration of civil liberties, and mushrooming tax burden, among many others, must be discussed by the campaign! I've heard many times that the voters aren't intelligent enough to understand the issues that are central to our current political situation. To a degree this is arrogant nonsense, and to the degree that most voters are interested in the nicities of inflationary policy, they can feel the effect on their wallet! This is the role of marketing! You say in your commercial: "have you noticed how gas and food prices have risen so dramatically in recent years, yet no one running seems to be talking about why?" Cut to clip of Dr. Paul explaining the inflationary policies of the Fed and the sky-rocketing gas prices resulting from our foreign excursions. You say in your commercial: "Why does the government now take nearly __ percent of our national income, and yet things are getting worse, not better. The number of impoverished people, the quality of education, the regulations imposed on small businesses: government is making things worse! Why do no other candidates talk about the massive and inefficient role of the federal government in our society?" Cut to clip of Dr. Paul talking about small government! You say in commercial: "Everyone running for office seems to think we have to maintain our presence in Iraq indefinitely, until, they say, 'we've won.' But haven't we won the war already? Iraq has 300,000 troops and elected officials. The problem is that there is no standard for victory, so we'll never know when we've won. Unless we want to have troops in Iraq as long as we've had them in Germany and South Korea, which we can't afford, we'd better bring them home soon." You say in commercial: "Why is no one in the presidential race talking about the falling dollar, and the rising prices that are hitting Americans in the wallets?" Etc., etc., etc. BUT TALK ABOUT SOMETHING SUBSTANTIVE! PLEASE!

SHOW CLIPS OF DR. PAULS SPEAKING TRUTH, THE SAME THING THAT GOT ALL OF THE DIVERSE, ECELECTIC CROSSSECTION OF PEOPLE ONTO THIS FORUM. THE COMMERCIALS THEY'RE RUNNING NOW WOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT FOR ME, THAT'S FOR SURE!

A two minute television advertisement with Dr. Ron Paul speaking directly into the camera, directly to the audience, directly addressing older Americans about his plan for Social Security.

I like that.. maybe they can do 4 or 5 different commercials on different subjects and just go all out. i think anything that we do that is different than just the usual political ads will make Ron stand out, plus its a good way to get the message out. while we are at it we should by time on fox and play the electability question from the fox debate over and over again

People either said I was crazy or they ignored me. But I posted the winning strategy months ago. Nothing was done and now we are marching zombie-like towards an inevitable loss.

Please look at my thread again. Add comments. Get the info to the campaign now!

We have the money. If we spend it on these types of ads we can win. If we keep doing what we've been doing so far we will lose.

People aren't getting all of these subtle points. We need to hit them over the head with a reality hammer. Maybe the guys running the campaign could use a hit or two as well.

I hate to see us lose without even putting up a decent fight.

Who else believes that the Official Campaign needs new management at the top?

I personally have emailed the campaign NUMEROUS times ( at least 7 messages) and receive

an email back from them a month later, ( if at all) , from a volunteer (college student ,

secretarial-type, etc.) which has absolutely no comment about my suggestions for ads and

strategy to win this campaign.

My family has donated $4600 toward Dr. Paul's election ,and I am tired of seeing this

amateurish approach. I think we need to bombard the campaign with emails asking for the

top individuals to move aside and let some professional marketing and promotion expertise

be used . This campaign needs to use Dr. Paul's economic and monetary ideas to grab

the attention of the American public. The time for vague , subtle, ineffectual ads is over.

It's time to frame Dr. Paul as a commanding leader, making full face eye contact with the

viewer and asserting that his program would have prevented this unfolding economic

disaster, and he can provide the only lasting solution to this trainwrecked system.

I just emailed them (again) telling them just that....who else agrees and will help get us

better, more capable help to get this accomplished?????

I'm seeing an Obama ad that ends with "...to fix health care, we need to fix Washington". Ron Paul should have an ad that says "Obama thinks we can "fix" health care by "fixing" Washington. He does not say where the money will come from." Something like that.
