worst. picture. ever.

How can RP beat Obama

1. Appeal to all stripes of GOP voters.
2. Motivate the GOP to vote.
3. Advance a plan for America that solves our current problems and puts us on a path to prosperity for ourselves and our posterity, bringing in enough independents & swing democrats to win.

Guys just a quick note here. I think we should try to keep discussion/critiques of the Ads to minimum on this thread as this is where the PAC will probably come to review the final submissions. If that is indeed the case, we don't want them having to sift through 20 pages of comments.

One candidate was the inspiration for ObamaCare.

One candidate an IRS tax attorney.

One candidate broke his pledge to America.

One was the chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve.

And one candidate delivered 4,000 babies, served in the US Air force, and has been a loyal husband for 50 years.

That candidate is Ron Paul... the one for 2012.

great stuff. The "And one candidate .." part could include Ron's lengthy list of attributes and accomplishments, including hitting the only out of the park home run in the history of the Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. :)

One thing that just dawned on me and it's something that we should probably check on is with regard to the pricing structure for printing color ads. It used to be the case that the price for a print job was tied to not only the volume, but also the number of colors in the thing to be printed. Someone may want to check to see if that is still the case. Because the price difference used to be substantial.

It's taken care of Liberty. The monies are being paid for a full page color ad. It's already done.

worst. picture. ever.

Got some constructive criticism for it?

The picture can easily be changed. Please provide a high-res one that's better.

I elected to use one where he is Not smiling because then it looks more like he's ready to take charge.

Yes, Thank you, I am going to move all the discussion posts to the discussion thread in a minute or two, (including this one)

Speak Subliminally and with Positivity

Might we reframe the issues with our own positive words that we can associate with Ron Paul? For example:

  • Restore Faith in the Present
insert a few words about reclaiming trust in our politicians by electing representatives committed to protecting the values of the People
  • Restore Wisdom from our Past
insert a few words about the Constitution, the principles of the Founders, and standing on the shoulders of experience of great generations
  • Restore Prosperity for our Future
insert a few words about righting the course of our economic future buoyed by the strong foundation of our past
  • Restore America Now
Vote Ron Paul for President 2012
I tried to keep ALL the words really positive, while subtly touching on various issues (especially those that might persuade more to vote for Ron Paul if they are now uncommitted or considering a switch in their alliance).

Examples:
Ron Paul's age is not referred to in the wording, except through his picture and a subliminal message. However, before the viewer can perceive Ron as old (a negative), there is instead the suggestion to Ron's age as that which gives him 'wisdom' (a positive).

'Faith' is mentioned to touch those who think religiously, but it's framed broadly to reach out to all and without pandering. Faith is built on trust (a positive) and protection (a positive) which also subtly speaks to those who believe in a strong military for national defense.

The debt (a negative) isn't mentioned by name except indirectly through positive words: 'righting the course', 'buoyed', 'strong foundation', and the suggestion that the future can be better than even the best of our past.

Even the ordering of Present, Past, and Future is a subliminal message for why people should read the ad immediately, then reflect on their own experiences, then envision a better tomorrow.

These are just a few of the subliminal messages in the words suggested. Food for thought.

PS. I'd love to see Romulus try out a few of these ideas with his positive-feeling check marks.
