I like these too. They give a little more substance to a great image ad.
In the future, I'd like to see an ad lead with the line "Ron Paul: He was Tea Party when Tea Party wasn't cool." (This plays on the country song lines "I was country when country wasn't cool.") It points to Ron's many years of opposition to increased spending and taxes and digs at the phony pretensions of Bachmann and Perry to be long-standing Tea Party true believers.

I agree, this is much better -- congressman, republican, etc, rather than just repeating republican.

If we come up with a couple different ads we could run both at different times leading up to Ames. The faith ad could come out during a sunday edition for example. We could also place an ad in the Des Moines Register.

That faith ad is gorgeous -- I love the sepia. It could be worth trying other pics in there as people are saying, just to see.

Personally, I don't dislike the original pic, but it's worth looking at options.

I agree with the idea, but the image of Ron needs to be swapped out and the brown tint is not very appealing. Other than that it's great

Iron Rule of Advertising: It is far more effective to run smaller ads many times than it is to run full page ads fewer times.

I would recomend using the money for 1/4 page ads...The human mind responds to repitition...
