To say that I'm disappointed right now that Rand Paul dropped out is an understatement.

It is my personal and sincere belief that God sends people like the Pauls to show how wicked this nation really is. Ron and Rand have offered a truly Christian perspective on politics and policy for this nation, yet they don't go around using Christ's name in their effort to achieve their goals.

I have always held the belief that it is the actions, not the words, that define a follower of Christ.

The Paul's have voiced, voted, rallied, and supported seeking PEACE in our nations foreign policy, correcting decades of wrong, that have been perpetrated by both sides of the political aisle.

The Paul's actions, and words in regards in treating people with our charge, is what Christ would do. Talking about making "Sand Glow" via carpet bombing, then invoking "the body of Christ" is exactly the opposite of what Christ preached, and more in line of what the Antichrist would say or do.
I think this nation needs to frankly look in the mirror, and think about what this nation has become.

More importantly, we as Christians need to look in the mirror, and ask ourselves who Christ really was. Would Christ support those that invoke his name, then talk openly about war and violence?

Would Christ support those that collude with liars and murders in governments around the world, giving billions of dollars to governments that use that money to by weapons, that end up being used against innocent people?

Maybe those that consider themselves "Christians" really aren't Christians after all? Maybe the word Christian is just a security blanket to cover up with after you support politicians, that represent the entire nation, do terrible things in our name?

Again. Read. Research. Dig. Every candidate should be vetted.

No candidate is perfect, but one that supports what this country was founded on, the Constitution. That actually brings forth basically the "policy" of Christ, without labeling it as such, needs to be supported. Not ridiculed.
We as Christians should be able to recognize Christ in action, and unfortunately, the only candidate that I can truly feel comfortable with calling a man of Christ, has dropped out.

It's a sad day, and I am ashamed of being called an American.

I'm with you. I am beyond upset at this decision, nor do I fully understand it. Maybe Rand will explain himself in some media interviews today. Or maybe they'll just continue ignoring him.

It makes sense. He wasn't gaining traction, scored poorly in Iowa, and knew he wasn't going to get the nomination. So instead of spending millions of dollars pretending to fight a fight he couldn't win, he dropped out to better devote his resources to the Senate and begin the process of positioning himself for the next step. He's allowed to horde his remaining money and apply it to a future presidential race. This is a smart strategic move for us.

Please Buck up & stop feeling bad.

Paul's are not the horse to bet on to WIN. We know this, thru many years of their actions. (perfect message, imperfect messengers) says Ron Paul

Your beliefs are solid & I hope their is local politicians in your state, town or County. you can support & get some positive results with.

We talk in this movement about the "remnant". What is that in reference to? It's in reference to an essay by A. J. Nock called Isaiah's Job:

https://mises.org/library/isaiahs-job

A good read, but you don't need to read it to understand my point. What was Isaiah's Job? Basically to preach to a doomed nation. God always warns before he's about to execute judgement.

I, personally, believe in the message Jonathan Cahn put forth. That being that this nation is on the verge of judgement. 9/11 was a warning. And we have had many years to heed that warning. And we had three Paul campaigns warning us. And here, now, in the year of the prophetic jubilee (the year for liberty in the bible) we see the Paul campaign folding it's tent.

And just like ancient Israel who puffed themselves up at a warning, we've done the same and arguably have gotten worse in the last 15 years. And instead of supporting liberty (in the prophetic year of liberty no less) our nation is supporting "Peace through Strength" diet-fascist Trump.

So take heart that at least Rand and Ron and some of us made/are making efforts in that direction even though it seems for naught. Ron and Rand were doing part of Isaiah's Job. A thankless job for the most part, but necessary. Now perhaps we will see what ignoring the path to peace brings to this nation.

It's all in God's hands in the end. No reason to be sad for liberty. You should be sad and mourn for those who reject it. Would be nice if perhaps America was like ancient Nineveh, but I have my doubts. Especially since our leading candidate doesn't even think we have anything to repent for.

If you believe that sort of thing.

Thank you for your post. As for words of encouragement:

"5Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding. " (Proverbs 3:5, esv)

This game hurts and I wonder why I play it.

I've no words to actually convey my true disappointment and emotion.

World War 3 is coming. They want to destroy Russia.
Time to leave the U.S.

I'm sad we couldn't pull it off, but I'm not mad at Rand Paul. I think the writing was on the wall. I think all of our last hopes was the youth vote in iowa - that didn't happen so I don't think there would be any chance going forward. Sad but true.

Let's make sure rand wins the Senate again.

You can't destroy Russia, without destroying yourself, and the rest of the world in the process.

i was shocked too.. it was the thing i saw today... but rand had to do what he had to do.. im sure hes got to make sure his senate seat is safe.

I'm not going to feel ashamed. I think the campaign was really hoping for a more powerful student turnout in Iowa. That would have really galvanized his 50 state model. Bernie Sanders grassroots org raised $3M, one of which happened during his speech. He would have needed that kind of commitment to make it really fly. He would have needed serious help with ads and so forth to compete in NH and SC. With students who weren't willing to back up what they said, it would never have worked.
I will not be shamed for being American and excercising my right to express myself and my beliefs through my support of Rand Paul.

I'm not going to feel ashamed. . . .

Not ashamed at all either - more proud in bits and pieces.

But mad as hell that terrorist factions have won -
the media convinced the masses that giving up on the nation-founding liberty is the answer - the one that Madison warned against.
