UNofficial MN GOP Convention Tweets/News/Updates Here please :)

So whats the total so far? (out of how many for all CDs)

From what I can tell, we now have 18/21 from the CD conventions, still waiting on today's CD 8 results. All that's left is 3 super delegates, and 13 delegates to be decided at the state convention on May 19th.

Ron Paul gets 1 delegate and 1 alternate from CD8. #mngop

So I'm counting 20 out of 24 so far? Where will the rest of the delegates come from?

CD1 - 2/3?
CD2 - 3/3
CD3 - 3/3
CD4 - 3/3
CD5 - 3/3
CD6 - 3/3
CD7 - 1/3
CD8 - 2/3

Total: 20/24

These are unofficial just by going off twitter

Cool... We can forget about the superdelegates but about the 13, how's it looking for State, we should be able to pull a plurality/majority if we don't get shut out at the State. Whats the likelihood of getting shutout at State?

We will prevail. RT @GOPrincess: Minnesota... The land where we now must battle #Paulbots *and* #DFailLogic. #HEADDESK #MNGOP

Remains to be seen in 8th vote is whether Quist momentum is broken. Quist ripped Parry hard in speech. Wait to see if works. #mncd1 #mngop

the last vote had moved back towards Parry.

Not very likely... Most of the delegates at the state convention will be the same ones that just swept most of the CD conventions for Ron Paul. For example, when I was elected at the BPOU level it was to be a delegate at both the CD6 convention AND the state convention.

If Ron Paul has 20 delegates from the CD conventions after today, then Ron Paul just won Minnesota. No doubt in my mind at all.

An important factor helping RP is the party establishment up in Minnesota is in complete disarray. There's no leadership at the top to organize a "resistance" to an RP takeover. The last party chairperson just got fired for mismanagement, the party is two million in the red and its communication director was caught banging the State Senate Majority Leader forcing her resignation and his ouster. It was this individual who organized the "Minnesota Conservative Delegate Team" who basically shutout RP at the state convention four years ago (wouldn't even let Paul speak in the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester). I think this year's convention in St. Cloud is going to be a lot different and I think Bills is going to get a party endorsement for his U.S. Senate campaign which he desperately needs to have a chance to win the nomination.

It could be a Ron Paul fest.

Several delegates have left or didn't show up at start. Right now we have 37 alternates filling in spots. #mngop #mncd1

We need a unity slate at the state convention. Candidates who pledge to support our nominee. Would like to be on it, but either way. #mngop

If they nominate Ron, I'm fine with that.
