Why is the bogus "unity" message apparently working in Maine and elsewhere?

What do convention delegates say when you mention McCain blocking unity in 2000?

All I have to see is Oympia Snowe atop the list to surmise that slate is ANTI-conservative and to vote AGAINST that slate.
