Turkey Shoots Down Russian Military Plane Near Syrian Border

I feel better now. A local news station said that NATO will probably let this intrusion by Russia slide.

Hearing this really scares me. I am so sick of war, and would be very thankful if my two beautiful daughters could do a little bit of time growing up during some peace time. I really hate the military industrial complex, and it scares the hell out of me that we are powerless to all of the greedy PTB. I really feel like this is all orchstrated since a real peace candidate may have a chance to win.

Incidents like this are great reminder of why Ron Paul advocated for the US not being in NATO.

Entangling alliances lead to nothing but trouble!

Speaking of air-space violations, a Turkish jet was shot down over Syria on June 22, 2012 a full 10 miles from Turkish border a mile from Syrian coastline. Syria apologized for the incident even though the aircraft was unidentified and protocol in that case was certainly more justifiable than Turkish behavior this early morning.

Double standards. If you'd like to see the relative position, google "Om Al-Toyour". That's the closest city where the shot down Turkish jet crashed.

Maybe this is payback?

PUTIN: TURKEY IS AN ACCOMPLICE OF ISIS

Since the earliest months of the Syrian war, Turkey has had more direct involvement and more at stake than any of the regional states lined up against Bashar al-Assad.

Turkish borders have been the primary thoroughfare for fighters of all kinds to enter Syria. Its military bases have been used to distribute weapons and to train rebel fighters. And its frontier towns and villages have taken in almost one million refugees.

Turkey’s international airports have also been busy. Many, if not most, of the estimated 15,000-20,000 foreign fighters to have joined Islamic State (Isis) have first flown into Istanbul or Adana, or arrived by ferry along its Mediterranean coast.

The influx has offered fertile ground to allies of Assad who, well before a Turkish jet shot down a Russian fighter on Tuesday, had enabled, or even supported Isis. Vladimir Putin’s reference to Turkey as “accomplices of terrorists” is likely to resonate even among some of Ankara’s backers."

Turkey had protested such violations peacefully many times in the past. On this occasion, they made ten requests over five minutes for the plane to leave their airspace. It continued on and was shot down.

How many times has Syria protested multiple nations impugning its sovereignty and air space, including Turkey?

Obama points finger at Russia over jet shoot-down by Turkey

Propaganda trick:
was this su-24 shot down "Over Syria" or "by Turkey".

Oh, and once again I will ID Detroit as the perfect target for a nuclear detonation. In the minds of many Americans it's... well... DETROIT.

I came to the same exact conclusion a month or two ago.
Also, Detroit can be blamed on the muslims there, since Michigan has the highest muslims per capita in the US.

If America does that to itself, though, it will really regret it when it happens again in New York and DC.
They won't be able to point the finger at Russia for it. Because everyone will be sure it was ISIS again.
And the only leadership structure left will be generals and CIA upper echelons vying for power, with none of them even suspecting Russia, because they all believe the bullshit about terrorists.

However, as anyone who knows how false flags are really initiated, it will be ISIS who sets up and detonates the bombs. How they got the bomb materials, however, will never be known. The most important evidence will be vaporized in milliseconds.

Rand Paul has no chance, sorry.
And Bernie Sanders is not a real peace candidate.
Again, sorry.

Video; Turkey supported "moderate" rebels, commit war crime while shooting at parachuting pilots while yelling Allah-akbar.

This needs to be spread so far and wide.. It's a perfect example of how "moderate" rebels do not exist.

Then this (whole video is interesting but skip to 1:40), US official saying these rebels had the 'right to defend themselves' when asked about these 'moderates' shooting at parachuting pilots. Then also says Assad does not have the right to defend his own country, more or less.

We could play this to our advantage if we play it right.

Turkey may be a NATO country but don't voters these days hate ALL muslims ? I'm not in favor of demonizing an entire religion or group of people but with the sad state of the voting public it may be a good option to get a point across. Turkey is NOT an ally, they have their own plan and will cheat and lie to get there.

David L Phillips of Columbia University, Turkey’s support for extremist groups operating in Syria, including ISIS has been even more extensive than previously thought. Drawing on a wide variety of sources, Phillips reveals that the Turkish government, a member of NATO and a key Western ally, has been involved in helping ISIS with recruitment, training, and has provided it with intelligence and safe havens and sanctuary. Most recently it has been exposed as a major customer for stolen Syrian oil, supplied by the terrorist group."

Pretty obvious turkey is trying to rebuild its empire. I do have a question. Would turkey and saudi arabia cooperate? I mean, it seems like the two countries are secretly building a caliphate. Or would they eventually fight for #1.

So they are pretty much an ally.
