Tuesday, 6/7/11 $1 Up Iowa projects fundraising game thread

Some of us in another thread thought that as part of our overall push to fund the Iowa projects before the end of the FEC reporting quarter that comes at the end of this month, it would be fun to continue the '$1 up' threads Steve Bierfeldt started here on Money Bomb day. Each donation should be $1 more than the last, no more, no less, and sent through the Iowa projects donation page (it dumps you into the campaign donation page but presumably tracks credit for Iowa). You CAN donate more, but it still counts as just one dollar more for the purposes of progression in this thread, and if you want to make a larger donation, that could be made as a separate thread.

I am starting the thread, today, with the initial $5 donation, and I sent it to Special Delivery.

Our plan is that there would be a new thread every day until the end of the month, which is the end of the reporting period, so if you come on one day and don't see one, you can start one for the day with a $5 donation. Let's see how long we can keep the thread alive!

There is at least one chip in in the SRLC forum for someone to pay for gas to attend. I'll fetch it in a minute, but I'll post it in another thread. We found out about that late and getting enough people there is going to be tough with so little time to organize and so many events going on!.

I don't honestly know if Ron can use Liberty Pac money to travel any more, now that he announced, but it would probably be a good thing for us to find out.
