Tuesday, 6/7/11 $1 Up Iowa projects fundraising game thread

Time to re-start this thread....

"Mail Drop"
Amount: $21.00
Transaction ID: 290585994
Transaction date/time: 2011-06-13 10:51:04

So who's up next for $22?

I just made some calculations using the "(n^2+n-20)/2" formula....right now we've generated $221 from this thread

As of the time I performed my calculations there's $747,643 total and we've generated $12,728, so this means we need $734,915 more to entirely fund ALL the Iowa projects

So this means if this thread reaches $1212 we would've entirely funded everything...but right now we're at $21 onto $22.

But these calculations don't factor in the donations that come outside from this thread so most likely we will need to reach less than $1212 to entirely fund every Iowa Project.

Its $221+$16, we got an extra $16 dollar donation.

Thanks for the correction!

The correct formula with the +$16 added in would be "(n^2+n+12)/2".....so when n=21 the total is $237, when n=22 the total is $259, but with this adjustment we still need to reach the same $1212 or n=1212 to entirely fund everything.

So we're at a total of $259 so far.

So who's up for $23 next?
