c) radical feminism / abortion
d) english only

whether you like him on these issues or not, he tells the truth, and some people don't like to hear that.

Sorry, but you are not getting the point. No one is saying that we shouldn't be a melting pot or that we shouldn't be who we are. What I am saying, because I am not going to speak for Bing, we do have a culture. If you ignore that fact, than you do so at your own peril. There is such thing as American culture, whether you want to recognize that or not.

There is no "American" culture because all of the things in our culture (music, food, cinema, etc) are all from different cultures and America is known as the "Great Melting Pot" after all. I also don't agree with the whole "english only" thing. No other country forces you to speak their language and most people in the world know English because it is the international business language. I could make the argument that this country is better off raising children who are bilingual.

When did I say I support forcing people to speak in English? My family is German and they should not be forced to speak English. Although I didn't address the issue of language, I do think we need to have a federal law that puts English as the official language of GOVERNMENT.
