Trump Would Fund Super-PACs Aimed at Taking Down Cruz, Kasich

An antiCruz SuperPAC would be a great project for liberty voters to get involved with. This Canadian crapweasel hates America so much that he wants a born foreigner to sit in the White House and merge us into the NAU. This is a dangerous, treasonous man from a family of foreign mercenaries. They all need to be crushed.

Please provide a quote and/or a cite of Gov Johnson's opposition to the PATRIOT Act from September or October 2001.

I'm not aware that he ever mentioned it in public prior to his first presidential campaign.

He'd never held federal office, and I doubt he was ever asked about it as Governor of NM.

What's your point?

You said that Johnson "opposed" the PATRIOT Act.

But now you're saying that Johnson, in actuality, never did anything at all to oppose the PATRIOT Act.

Thank you for admitting your first statement was a lie.

Please stop posting lies to this forum.

WTH are you talking about?

Johnson did (and still does) oppose the PATRIOT Act.

He's been criticizing it since he first appeared on the national political scene in 2011-2012.

...as I just said.

Please provide a quote or cite from 2002 of Johnson opposing war in Iraq.

Again, I'm not aware of Johnson commenting on foreign policy issues as a Governor.

He's opposed the Iraq War since he first became involved in federal politics.

Unlike Trump, there is no indication that he ever held any other view on the matter.

...but it is fun watching you people grasp at straw trying to rationalize your foolish choices.

"Well, let's see, if I can only convince myself that Johnson is bad as Trump, I'll be able to suppress that gnawing regret...."

On an unrelated note:

What are the most popular anti-depressants in the US?

And what company makes them?

And what is that company's ticker?

And how much are the Dec16 calls?

Trump stuck his neck out with his Iraq comments when it wasn't popular to do so. Now Trump has made irrational comments in the past that have been documented, but his Iraq War comments were spot-on, considering the timing.

He might have said it in a joking manner, but he only mentioned Ted Cruz. I heard no mention of Kasich. If he does setup a pac against Cruz, can someone remember to put a link here? I'd donate.

I don't know what mark in the video he said it, but he ripped Cruz several times. Pretty funny :D

Thank you for admitting that Governor Johnson did nothing to oppose the Iraq War.

Please apologize to the forum for your lie saying otherwise.

Sounds a lot like Trump.

Unlike Trump

Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2003, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2004, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2005, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2006, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2007, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2008, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2009, Johnson said nothing.
Unlike Trump speaking out against the Iraq War in 2010, Johnson said nothing.

Trump could have his wife or children set up the super pac. he could also make life miserable for Cruz. no input for judges, US attorneys, and campaign for his opponent in 2018.

This would have made some kind of sense a year ago, but he's already beat them and day 1 of being the official nominee still acting like he's running in a primary. Ohio is a state he needs to win, he lost badly there in the primary and the state GOP says if he keeps going after Kasich, they are not going to help him. Cruz got over 1.2M votes in TX, Obama lost TX by the same margin in 2012. If Trump keeps fucking with Cruz and his supporters, he won't just be the guy who lost 2016, he will forever be known as the guy who turned TX blue.

Lol well done.

Dude, have you even been following him? Listening to his foreign policy speech and his speech last night?

He's not perfect, but he's pretty damned good.

What is sad are those who think they are doing something smart by promoting whatever it is that Johnson is. Neocon-light? Did you forget how many Supreme Court Justices will likely be named by whomever wins the presidency? Not to mention what Hillary will do to the 2nd Amendment, warmongering, more horrible trade deals and our economy.

The problem is Trump will not pick conservatives for the supreme court. Why would he? He's never been a conservative. I understand that some would rather take the chance because it's certain what Hillary will do. But I don't see why some believe Trump cares about conservative principles. The only thing that Trump may actually care about are the trade deals, i'll give you that. Eveything else, i doubt he cares at all. So I see him "negotiating" away everything we care about, to the democrats, should he win.

If TX went blue, then people would blame Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz is in a lose lose situation. Whether Donald wins or loses, Ted comes out looking bad. Even a sizeable portion of Texas delegates are furious with Cruz, saying that he didn't keep his word and that he's hurting the Party. I'm not sure if Ted is just really this dumb, or if his masters forced him to continue the NeverTrump agenda. No matter what, I think Ted is done for. He might have a chance in the Libertarian Party after his term is up in 2018.

"While many of our liberties are threatened by a government grown too large and too intrusive, there are some fundamental freedoms that are under particular threat. The Patriot Act, for example, is a direct assault on both privacy and the due processes of law. It should be repealed."

Vote Trump because Hillary is a disgusting pig.

That's pretty simple.

Who cares about Gary Johnson?

More people here wrote in Ron Paul in 2012 than voted for Gary Johnson, who was doing the same thing last time. And that was a situtation where the GOP and Romney screwed over Ron Paul and the delegates. This time around, Trump didn't screw Rand. We have no reason to be pissed at Trump.

That's pretty simple.

Trump is just as disgusting of a pig as Hillary and equally bad (or worse) on policy (which is what actually matters, in any case).

Who cares about Gary Johnson?

Anyone who cares about advancing libertarianism.

It sounds like you vote on the basis of emotions, personalities, fluff.

You should vote in the way which will most advance your ideology.

If your ideology is libertarianism, that would mean voting Johnson this cycle.

Not voting or voting CP is foolish, from a strategic point of view, but I can sympathize with the underlying motivation.

Voting Trump, on the other hand, is completely retarded in every respect.
