Trump won't participate in Thursday's debate

Trump loves headlines. He said he wouldn't attend a debate before, but came back anyway. At least Paul's in- now to make use of what time he's given.

Wow, they are *good. I figured the Kelly thing was all staged Rand-blocking-drama but I didn't think past that to use it down the road. Do you think they will cycle-milk this thing?

Trump is the real deal! He won't put up with any flak -not even from Fox! Woohoo!

I believe Rump said he wouldn't split the party, depending on Rand's progress I bet. What a show.

*In an evil sort of way if you understand my meaning.

Hmmmm... maybe.

Or, maybe, the plan all along is for Jeb to make a miraculous comeback and destroy the tyrant Trump, and ride the wave of that tsunami to beat Hillary/Bernie. Jeb will be pumped and be the comeback kid this election.

I don't think Trump is going to skip because he can't stand not being on that stage in front of everyone, and because I don't think he has the actual balls to follow through on juvenile threats like this one. On the other hand, if he does skip the debate, between his pointless babble and Fiorina's annoying, interrupting shrillness being absent, the debate may prove to be worth watching.

A narcissist of his caliber would never miss an opportunity to be center stage. He'll be there

Unless he's that scared of a Megan Kelley smear

Trump sites Drudge's online poll and other online polls as proof that he is leading.

Trump won't be there. He's going to do what Rand did, and hold an alternative event. It may make it onto another network.

Roger Ailes put out a sarcastic press release on Trump earlier, and that is why Trump has dropped out. Trump has now been able to call out Ailes as being biased. Fox News is biased, imagine that.

Supposedly, this came straight from Roger Ailes:

We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president — a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.

He is scared of Rand. I think Rand is about to turn up the heat. He is going to call the fake candidates out for what they are, and try to talk sense to the Trump supporters. Trump would rather take his voters and stay home. He will stay out of the kitchen because he cant take the heat.

Good fucking riddance. The Trumpkins can't be swayed anyway. This, if anything, will just make them forget about politics and forget to caucus.

This just shows you Trump would be a bad president, he would't get along with people and just end up being a divider.

maybe he learned from Rand and thinks it will benefit him too.. although these are different circumstances..

Will Fox now be snippy with Trump?

They have been to some degree since the beginning, thus Trump's original battle with them. It appears that the hardcore neoconservatives are not taking the mainstream establishment's apparent (likely temporary) truce with Trump very well. Bill Kristol was on CNN earlier ripping Trump, and pushing Rubio. Ailes is even coming out in the open. Interesting politics going on here.

It is interesting.

When I do watch fox, less so lately, it's usually in the morning where they seem to kiss his ass more than anything.

The sad part is even with Trump out of the next debate, I'm sure most of the questions will be directed to the other candidates about Donald Trump.
Ancient political secret: you don't have to answer the question they actually ask. :)

Moderator: "Senator Paul, here is a question about Trump?"
Paul: "Thank you for asking about my economic plan! Here is why it will make life better for Americans."

:D

Will Fox now be snippy with Trump?

Before he said he was out, Trump was also on Special Neocon Report with Brett Baier. Brett was giving Trump a really hard time, especially on the ethanol issue. Probably contributed to the decision.

Trump would probably want to avoid questions on issues right now anyway. He's probably flipped and flopped himself into a corner.
