Trump signs EO banning gov financial support of transqueeer procedures for minors

This involves more than just minors:

I've got some more follow-on for you Jamie. If you hadn't already noticed, the federal webpages have been changed (not that you'd routinely be checking, of course). Check out the current Federal Bureau of Prisons webpage for "Statistics on Inmate Sex"; and compare it to the archive from 28JAN2025. D'ya notice how the 28JAN webpage about gender has morphed into the current one about sex? Notice also that the 28JAN webpage has some stats on transgenders beneath the male/female table, whereas the transgender stats are missing from the current webpage.

But it's those transgender stats from 28JAN that I'd like your speculation on. I'm making an assumption that the numbers for transgender individuals are included in the male/female stats corresponding to their gender identities (which may be incorrect on my part, but it was initiated under the Biden administration). Summarizing the stats on those incarcerated in federal prisons for male inmates and those for female inmates:
Female: 10,025 inmates (of which, 1,529, or 15.3%, are trans-females)
Male: 143,714 inmates (of which, 744, or 0.5%, are trans-males)

Given that about 0.88% of the female US population identify as trans-females (derived from UCLA data), why do you think the percentage of trans-females in the federal prison population is so high? I could hypothesize that transgender females are more prone to federal crime than cis-females (sex, rather than gender, could be the explanation). Or I could hypothesize that cis-males are identifying as trans-females so they can be incarcerated in female prisons and rape to their heart's content (which I don't buy because a female inmate is more likely to be raped by a guard than an inmate). Or I could hypothesize that cis-men are willing to endure the stigma of identifying as trans-females so they can be incarcerated in female prisons, thus avoiding the hard life (including their own rape) they'd face in a male prison. Thoughts?

Well, that's hard to input into my system at the moment, because I am drunk and so forth. I will try to get back to this at a later date. Though I do thank you for asking me. That is what you people should have always been doing. I mean, when I am not so fooked-up.

But I will say this:

Folks, I'm not for penis-having individuals being put into women's prison. But there are known cases of this, and when that occurs, it's the women jumping their bone. Seriously, there's no need for any rapy situation to occur lest the male (yes, I'm comfortable using that term) just likes rape for its own sake.

So no, do not put penis-having individuals with the women-folk. Not because the penis-individual will rape them, but rather because the women will damn-near rape them.

It's supposed to be a sentence. You're supposed to do time. It shouldn't be all fun and games.

Anyway, I have the solution to all this. Read my above words about how to properly construct a prison-system.

I will protect all of you. All of you.

Dagnabbit, I mean it!

Anyway, I need to slack-off now.

It involves architecture. House every inmate individually in their own cell, with the cells arranged in a panopticon with a central watch-tower, like slices of pizza with the tower at its center. And you can stack the floors up as high as the highest skyscrapers, if you want, with other structurally-connected panopticon towers giving reinforcement to the others. And since the cells are arranged in pizza-slices, that means that each inmate can have two people to communicate with behind a woven mesh of thick steel wire reinforced by steel pillars and horizontal bars, as is typical in current jail and prison bar-barriers. Have slots between them and a table underneath the slot, with embedded stools for the two prisoners to sit, in order to play board games and trade books, etc.

That would be each individual's "commons" area. Then they would have their personal cells right behind that, with a door they could close for quiet introspection and bedtime, which would also contain their bathroom facilities. One could even have a door behind that for their own small personal outdoor recreation area, with the back-end of that using the same woven mesh of thick steel, which would allow them to see the outdoors and breath fresh air.

And that would be their existence for the duration of their stay in jail/prison.

I'm pretty sure if we were to democratically choose between that and the other leading choice, then George Carlin's approach (which isn't much different from the existing system) would prevail.
