Trump Plans To Finally Withdraw US Troops From Syria, Israelis Say

The whole Syria thing has dragged on way too long. If this is really happening, I hope it sticks and doesn't get blocked again like last time.
Sorry, it's not "actually" happening.

It was only ever going to be "half" and it probably hasn't even happened yet. Mostly, cuz Israel is whining. Surprise, surprise.

Syria is a disaster we just can't leave alone. Stooge Jolani is about to find out how much he's really loved by U.S./Israel. Already France is throwing him under the bus. Caesar sanctions are still in place to make sure everyone there starves and no rebuilding can happen. There's also 10,000 ISIS which will probably be released by the U.S. in order to re-de-stabilize things (HTS/SDF/ISIS are all fighting for a piece) so that after the Alawites are genocided by the Sunni's they can use ISIS to genocide the Sunni's.

So we'll need our troops there agains after ISIS is done, so Israel can mop up and steal more land, and our troops can be target practice instead of Israel.

Even if the troops leave Syria does this somehow mean we're "bringing the troops home" Ron Paul style? Hardly.

Wake up people, it ain't getting any better.

Your own post shows it's actually happening, it's happening in phases not all at once, but it will happen.

The Pentagon has officially confirmed that United States forces had withdrawn from some of their bases in northern and eastern Syria.

The forces left Mission Support Site Green Village, H2 and Mission Support Site Euphrates last May, the latest quarterly report from the Defense Department’s Inspector General said.

All three sites lay in the vast region known as the middle Euphrates River valley. The Mission Support Site Green Village is located within the al-Omar oil field in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the Mission Support Site Euphrates is located in the Conoco gas plant in the eastern countryside of the governorate which is located in eastern Syria.

U.S. forces “either dismantled and removed or handed over infrastructure” to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the key partner of the U.S.-led coalition in Syria, according to the report, which was published on July 29.
