Trump lays a rotten egg

What I don't understand is just who precisely declared that the Europeans are responsible for taking care of the hordes?
Who put this millstone around their necks? I've been to Europe twice. My wife is Hungarian.
And I can tell you straight from the horses mouth, that the vast majority of Europeans don't want them there.

I don't know if the horse you married speaks for all of Europe, but suppose you're right, and the majority don't want to help them. They still don't have the right to impose their wills on the minority who do want to.

Europe isn't a Constitutional Republic. If the majority doesn't want them there they should leave.
Hungary doesn't belong to a leftist minority. Nor does it belong to the hordes. It belongs to the Hungarians.
If you're so sympathetic, why don't you personally open your doors to a family of ten?

Let's break this down. 4 guys are sharing an apartment. One of them decides to bring in a stray dog and allow it to take a dump in the middle of the dining room table.

The other 3 don't have the right to prevent him from doing that?

It's beyond their reasoning ability to realize that nothing close to Libertarianism will ever take root in a country that's been flooded with immigrants who have no ability to grasp any complex ideologies

Correct. But good luck getting this point across to self-proclaimed Libertarians who advocate for open borders.

If there is one thing that has impressed me most in watching videos of the middle eastern people, generally muslims but I'm sure some from different religious back grounds as well, is that they seem far more intelligent than the average American insofar as political philosophy and the scope of their world view.

Well,...they've worked out the intricacies of female circumcision pretty well. I'll give 'em that much.

Right and wrong don't change from one country to another. God's law is objective and transcendent. The majority doesn't have the right to tyrannize the minority, and thinking they do doesn't change that.

That doesn't work. We're not sharing an apartment. We all have our own places. You don't want the dog in your own property. Fine. But your authority in that respect stops at your property line. If I want to have that dog in my property, you don't get to say no. Not even if you're in the majority.

Rand needs to take advantage

Hmm. Trump mostly taking a beating on this at Breitbart. First time i've seen that! This may do it.

I agree with other posters that Rand has to drive home the point that interventionist policies brought this about - but also reiterate that anyone coming here from "hotbeds of jihadism and hotbeds of this Islamism" needs to be scrutinized, and that he's been trying to re-implement NSEERS [National Security Entry Exit Registration System].

I’m very concerned about immigration to this country from countries that have hotbeds of jihadism and hotbeds of this Islamism. There was a program in place that Bush had put in place—it stood for entry-exit program from about 25 different countries with a lot of Islamic radicals, frankly. I think there does need to be heightened scrutiny. Nobody has a right to come to America, so this isn’t something that we can say ‘oh their rights are being violated.’ It’s a privilege to come to America and we need to thoroughly screen those who are coming….

Ok, well it's perfectly acceptable then for a minority group (gay marriage supporters, feminists, open border advocates etc.) to tyrannize the majority (the remaining 99%)?

Because those people in that minority have the right to welcome those refugees onto their property. That property is theirs, not the state's, nor the majority's.

That ain't what is going on, erowe. The horde is not being welcomed into individual's homes. They are being hoisted on the whole country.

Well, you are assuming a lot there. That every one of the migrants are being welcomed into individual private homes. Have any proof of that?

Nah, he's just like every other leftist. He wants to hoist them on YOU.

I'm actually going to agree with the majority on this one that we should probably either not take any of the refugees, or only take in Christian ones. Rand should emphasize 2 things on this apart from the obvious national security concerns with ISIS sleepers being mixed in with the general refugee population, and those things are (1) that we will most likely being draining Syria of people who will be needed to rebuild after ISIS is dealt with, and (2) that we can not afford to take in any more people with our gargantuan death.

I don't think he should be overly cold or brazen about it, just state it as a matter of fact and let it sink in.
