When you post that, what is it that you expect me to see and have some kind of negative reaction to? Is it all the dark skin? Or what?

I see people zealously yearning for freedom with a zeal I don't see here among complacent self-righteous white Americans. And I want to share freedom with them, and share the Gospel. I don't know about your culture. But in my culture, we have a rich heritage of actively sending missionaries to spread the Gospel to people like these, and we will jump at the opportunity to bring them here to hear that message.

You're just wrong. When Americans see this picture, they don't say to themselves, "We want to help people like this man. So let's elect the president who will tell us we can't."

Because the majority of people coming are not women and children, they are not families. The majority - roughly 70% of the people coming - are men, and a large number are young men. They are not fleeing so much as looking to take advantage of the situation by getting into Europe and on the dole.

Why? What about the peaceful Syrian Christians? What's wrong with them?

It is difficult sorting the good from the bad. And if you watch some of the videos a significant number are not Christians.

All that said it is a difficult situation because this crisis is a direct result of US foreign policy in the middle east. They wanted to overthrow Assad, but after being over in sandland for a decade plus now there was no political will to get US troops involved in Syria. So instead our government has been arming the various flavors of rebels, ISIS and Al-queda included, in order to destabilize the region and get Assad out.

I'm saying that Muslims are incompatible with western society.

What religion are you?

I actually agree with what you said in the above sentence (at least when it comes to the good parts of western society--and let's not kid ourselves, there are plenty of bad parts). I just don't conclude from it that it is up to the state to use the sword it wields to manipulate religious demographics. The right way to address wrong beliefs is the one that is based on freedom to believe those wrong beliefs, so that we who know the truth of Jesus Christ can share that truth and see people trust him out of a trust that God brings forth in their hearts, and not an outward conformity to the appearance of Christianity for the sake of state-based rewards.

Agreed that if Rand says to bring them in here, he may as well hang up his presidential aspirations this time around.
Rand is way ahead of the curve on this . . . before, and after, the Chattanooga shooting he was in favor of restrictions from certain nations . . .

Jeb Bush is going to need to flip-flop or explain previous statements he has made to fit the EU migrant crisis, such as . . .
(Jeb) said America’s best chance to rejuvenate itself and get back on the path of sustained economic growth lies with increased immigration. He calls for unlimited growth in guest-worker visas and is critical of the “border security first” approach to immigration.
“Border security should be based on the fact that coming here legally should be easier, with less cost and less risk than coming illegally,” Bush said. “And in fact today in America for most people who want to come to our country, coming here illegally is the only way.
“So if you want to have secured borders you also have to have an open legal system where aspiring people can come in. So, ‘security first’ misses that point. You could have greater border security if you had a guest-worker program, where people who can come and work and provide for their families can come and go, work in our fields, work in our hotels, take the jobs no one else wants.”
He also argued for “higher-end type immigration” where H1B visas are “expanded” and “economically driven immigrants can come and go.”

Offering a humanitarian lifeboat is all well and noble, until 5000 people try to get on the lifeboat. At some point, somebody has to say uncle. An excerpt from Pat Buchanan's column on this:

"This is but the beginning of what is to come, if Europe does not pull up the drawbridge.

For the scores of thousands of Syrians in the Balkans, Hungary, Austria and Germany are only the first wave. Behind them in Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan are 4 million refugees from the Syrian civil war. Seeing the success of the first wave, they are now on the move.

Behind them are 2 million Alawites and 2 million Christians who will be fleeing Syria when the Bashar Assad regime falls to ISIS and the al-Qaeda terrorists who already occupy half of that blood-soaked land.

Now the Iraqis, who live in a country the prospects for whose reunification and peace are receding, have begun to move. Also among the thousands pouring into Europe from Turkey are Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Afghans. When the Americans leave Afghanistan and the Taliban take their revenge, more Afghans will be fleeing west.

Africa has a billion people, a number that will double by 2050, and double again to 4 billion by 2100. Are those billions of Africans going to endure lives of poverty under ruthless, incompetent, corrupt and tyrannical regimes, if Europe’s door remains wide open?

What is coming is not difficult to predict.

Europe is going to run out of altruism long before it runs out of refugees. For as The New York Times reported Monday, there is no end in sight to the coming Third World and Islamic migrations to Europe."

So Europe pulls up the drawbridge, and instead of those millions of people experiencing life in countries unlike those they came from, and seeing the benefits thereof, they remain trapped in the Middle East, stewing in anger against the nations who first created their problems, and then prevented them from escaping them, and then what? Blowback doesn't happen because we do too much good to people, it happens because we do to much harm to them.

No, this is where Rand needs to step in and reiterate that this is why western nations need to quit destabilizing the middle east.

He needs to say that too. But he needs to be absolutely crystal clear that the US will be accepting NO Muslim "refugees" from either the Middle East or Africa during his Presidency. Perhaps make a small allowance for the Syrian Christians, but when making that concession really hammer hard how Hillary/Obama's senseless war in Syria has led to a Christian Holocaust (and yes, use the word Holocaust- it will drive the Jews mad and give you 100X times the media play you'd otherwise get).

They stay in their own countries and either fix their own problems or they don't. Not Europe's concern either way.

Oh,...so Americans want the country flooded by Muslims?

Who is out of touch?

Where have you been for last decade, they elected an "african-arab muslim" man to the White House already. Majority of GOP is now living under the rule of a muslim President.

It is part of Iraqi freedom apaology tour and happening in almost all countries that helped spread freedom in Iraq/Afghan/Syria/Gaza etc and then some.

Angela Merkel hailed as an angel of mercy as Germany opens its doors to 800,000 refugees

[h=3]Kerry says U.S. will take Syrian refugees[/h]

Rand's argument was brilliant, he should get more vocal about this dumb foreign policy that has decimated GOP and forcefully hit neocons with it.

I fully agree. Rand needs to be hammering the "NO MORE MUSLIMS IN AMERICA" message hard,....all day every day.

A: It's the correct message for the benefit of America.

B: Rand's got nothing to lose.
