Still waiting for Trump to admit that the vaccines are unsafe and ineffective. At this point that's never going to happen.

It was not him, it was the bureaucracy, the rest of the deepstate, and the media.
He went along as little as possible in an election year and said the cure could not be worse than the disease, he also steadfastly opposed mandates the entire time.

So, in reality, if we're being honest, Trump's mismangement of both the first months and the vaccine development being expedited for mass production and distribution, much earlier than Fauci originally envisioned. He pushed doctors and CDC and FDA to speed up everything, to hell with the protocols.

"It will take at least a year to a year and a half to have a vaccine we can use," Fauci said on March 3, 2020.

But this was not fast enough for Trump, who wanted it before the election.

Alex Azar, Mark Esper, and Deborah Birx were on the board of directors of OWS, while Tony Fauci, Francis Collins, and Robert Redfield were nonvoting advisers.

Deborah Birx, whom now it is known was pressured to be a team player, was the only medical professional on Trump's OWS board.

Azar was a lawyer with no medical background, except for being a former president of Eli Lily. Esper was from defense-industry lobbyist groups, and the Heritage Foundation.

just the facts. We should not forget what Trump's 2020 year really was like. He allowed the virus to get out of hand, when it was far stronger than it is today. He expedited the vaccines more than doctors like Fauci wanted, because he wanted votes. In the same way, he approved of and promised more handouts. The oversight was out the door financially. Out the door. It was a circus. Mnuchin was handing out millions to cronies. Billions in relief grants were going offshore and to criminals here. Kushners were involved in shady deals also, and Trump didn't care about any of it. He let it happen. We couldn't have done much worse in Covid response than with Trump in charge. This is the ugly truth. In many ways, Trump himself is what gave us Joe Biden.

Yes, they wanted more time to keep us locked down until the economy was destroyed completely.
By rushing the vaccine but opposing mandates Trump shortened the lockdowns and tried to stop mandates.
Had they had the time to test them fully they would have declared them to be proven and then they would have mandated them with more power because they were not experimental and unproven.

Trump never handled the entire "pandemic" well. It was an area where he was caught unaware and failed to correctly adapt. Given he had faith in institutions, unlike most of us here that consider them both corrupt and incompetent, it led him to make a series of decisions that were disastrous. The fact is that most people on this planet would have failed to handle it correctly, and the only ones that would have correctly handled everything would have done so for one or two major reasons that separate those individuals from the rest. The first reason being due to an inherent distrust of the extant hierarchies (corporations, government bureaucracies) that were to be a part of the proffered solution. The second reason is a logical understanding of pandemics, the necessity of prophylactics (which were discouraged by those previously mentioned hierarchies), lack of research support for the efficacy of mRNA vaccines, and knowing why vaccination during a pandemic is a bad idea. Basically, a better handling could have been achieved by possessing wisdom related to recent history or intelligence related to viruses and their spread. Any president that had both would have probably had the "pandemic" pushers up against a wall and shot for trying to cause widespread and longlasting harm to line their pockets.

I do not know why many of his supporters will not admit where he failed.

Agreed. He makes a lot of good posts but then throws his toys out of the pram during disagreements.
 
All it will take is a mandate and everyone will be ordered to take whatever they want you to take whenever they want you to take it. This scenario is unlike others. Unfortunately in most cases if you refuse to cooperate they incarcerate you. In this instance before incarceration they will first give you the mandated jab that was the cause of your incarceration. Get it? Got it? Good! For the good of the people!

Essentially, my jab no comment, no promises I'd investigate my own jab (though it "should" happen), but new Biden jab clearly bad, maybe all other jabs bad, but no comment on OWS at all period be very afraid of Biden but not me now go away.

“Mr. President, I’m telling you, there are people out there that are desperate to have you stand for them in that case,” said Dixon.

“Well, we’ll stand for them in many ways,” Trump replied.

The affirmative message showing the former president is aware of the multitude of vaccine injured Americans comes as Trump vowed last week to push back against Covid hysteria, which he credits for helping Joe Biden rig the 2020 election.

“They want to restart the Covid hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots, and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election. Does that sound familiar?” Trump said in a viral video last week.

Earlier this year, Trump also declared that if re-elected he planned to form a task force to probe the “stunning rise in autism, autoimmune disorders, obesity, infertility, serious allergies.”

Absolutely brutal exchange. Trump claims he doesn’t know who gave Anthony Fauci a presidential commendation while he was president when pressed by Megyn Kelly.

MK: “The truth is though, not only did you not fire Fauci, who is loathed by many, many, millions of Republicans in particular, but also some Democrats.

Trump: “By the way--”

MK: “You made him a star. You made him a star. This is the criticism of you. That you made him the face of the White House coronavirus task force--”

Trump: “You think so?”

MK: “--that he was out at every presser . . . and that you actually gave him a presidential commendation before you left office. Wouldn’t you like a do-over on that?”

Trump: “Uhhhhh, I don’t know who gave him the commendation. I really don’t know who gave him the commendation.”

MK: “Well a presidential commendation—”

Trump tries to talk over her here, so it is a little hard to hear, but it sounds like she says he may as well have given a commendation to Mark Milley if Fauci got one.

Also, it’s easy to miss, but MK notes at the very beginning that Trump changed his answer for why he didn’t fire Fauci. First, he said it was because Fauci had been around for a long time and that it would have been too controversial a move. She quotes him saying it would have created a firestorm. Only later did Trump say he *couldn’t* fire Fauci because he’s a civil servant. But as MK notes, the problem wasn’t just that he didn’t fire him--he made Fauci a star.

I don’t think a guy who says “I don’t know” who gave Fauci a presidential commendation while he was president is equipped to drain the swamp.
